Based on the club, the football, the players, the promise of our club I'm still a happy 8.

Based on the attitudes of so many of my fellow fans its down around 1 or 2. I think most of you are a f***ing disgrace in truth, that you can't deal with a setback in results without resorting to abuse and misery and sheer entitlement that bemuses me no end. NSC used to be a fun place to come whether we were floundering around league 1 or flying up the championship, we could be great, shite or indifferent but this would always be a place to enjoy being a fan of Brighton and Hove Albion wherever one was in the world. But that's virtually gone now, this place has become f***ing unbearable.
Complains about attitudes and abuse on a largely reasonable thread.

Then goes onto say that the majority are a "f***ing disgrace, entitled and f***ing unbearable"

Gotta love irony.

This should be interesting!

Mine is at an all time low of 4 as I have little faith in FH but realise he’s here for the season and there are some mitigating circumstances for performances recently. We have had some good results though and they can’t be overlooked.

I just find him dull, lacking in charisma and arrogant on what I‘ve seen of him talking and I really don’t have a clue what the process is or what his tactics are.

Surprisingly I am not in the Fab OUT camp as I can’t think of a single available manager I’d prefer.
Like yourself, I'm on 4 and for the same reasons. Hoping that wins against Chelsea and Saints in league will boost it up again but as you say, i still have no idea what our tactics are or what Fab is working on. The transfer window now shut and no improvement defensively is worrying for me!

I nearly went 8 myself, but plumped for a firm 7. I echo your sentiments whole heartedly.

NSC is a great place for human interaction, and I had some amazing support when it came to my wife’s cancer diagnosis.

There have been also some amazing posts and interactions around things like bereavement and mental health and other issues. People have joked that NSC has become like Mumsnet at times - but there really are some, apparently caring human beings here.

With all that said, it’s just such a shame some turn into myopic, entitled cry-hards so easily! I now rarely interact on any of the football posts on here, far too divisive…

2-3 rounded down to 2 after re-watching Dunk's post-match interview. It could easily rise with good results but at the moment have no optimism at all for any of the next three and fear that under FH it will get worse before it gets better. At least we're safe this season.

Big picture 7.5.
Form/injuries/concerns (lack of FH ideas last 2 games, inflexible) 4.5.
Yes, I'm glad someone has split it. I'm pretty much the same (8 and 4 for me) and I haven't voted. Anyone whose mojo hasn't been at least slightly dented by recent events is probably being a bit too happy-clappy, but overall as a club we ARE in a good place and that can't be denied.

So are things like the Palace, Everton and Forest results/performances simply blips to be expected? Or are they symptoms of a deeper malaise and things like the win at Old Trafford merely papered over the cracks? We'll see.

7. I don’t rate Fab at all. I really don’t think he will be here very long. But I don’t really see that as a problem. It’s a long term thing here and there’s always ups and downs.
Clearly there’s some problems with the squad balance atm, injuries, maybe morale. But I see us being in a really strong position in five years time- you have to be pleased with that.

7 at the moment.
A week is a long time in football and so many of our fans are fickle and cry babies as others have pointed out already.

Looking at social media yesterday the hysteria was embarrasing from fans who have quite high profiles and post a lot of guff.

Went with 4 this time, mainly because I've lost my faith in FH.

At St. Pauli, the turnaround in results once they appointed him was stunning and instant. At Brighton, it looks like the players don't know what he wants from them. So either he's failing to get his ideas across, or his ideas don't work in the Premier League.

The only reason I didn't go lower than 4 is that I haven't completely given up yet. It's not impossible that his methods will "click" with the players at some point this season and we'll start too look like a well-drilled team again. What's changed for me is that I've gone from "that probably will happen" to "that probably won't happen".

I was very angry after Saturday's game and wanted him gone asap. But on reflection, I think it makes sense to give him 'til the end of the season just in case it does all "click", while giving serious thought (in the boardroom, not here on NSC) to who the next manager will be.

I agree with all of this. After calming down too, I think until the end of the season, however, I still have a hunch it could all suddenly work as we’ve seen glimpses of. I just think the players haven’t bought into him. I hadn’t warmed to him since day dot, something about his persona. Lol.

Do we still have the flounce icon? If not could someone dust it off? It’s a beaut.

I’m a 4 as well.

I was a bit wary when we bought this manager in. I was not wholly convinced by the signings we made. I was disappointed by the players we let go.

Add to that that the club feels very slick and professional but a far cry from the club I’d hoped we might become and you have a waning mojo.

It’s not helped by our inability to win at home, a league that’s intent on scheduling very few 3pm games, a sales team who want to turn my season ticket into some sort of loose ‘licensing’ agreement where I’m obliged to do x, y and z or be banished and hey presto, I feel a dwindling sense of ownership.

Ultimately, I feel very distant from my club. I feel like, a customer.
This for me, but at a 3. I’ve cancelled my ST, because it just isn’t fun for me to be around the club at the moment.

Realistically it’s as a high as a 3 because I’ve cancelled and I can enjoy the football again next year without the emotional and financial commitment to an organisation who has no respect for me as a consumer.

This is how humans are, forums give the freedom how they really feel, which should be accepted otherwise just be a sheep and unauthentic. Like I think our home atmosphere is shit, and the fans of today think playing in the premiership is reality, it won't last forever and then there will be hoardes of empty seats when we are back in the championship. The Chelsea Cup game will be embarrassing with massive gaps in the home ends. Just my opinion.Doesnt require abuse, same respect to others with there opinions whatever it is.

Indeed. Amazing how people are so affected by such short term issues. I genuinely don’t understand how some people on here get through the days. Literally 2 weeks ago we’d just won 3 in a row and before that drew with Arsenal and Villa.

It’s embarrassing to read what a bunch of cry babies some of you are over a game of football (which the opposition is trying to win just as much as we are, let’s not forget).
Come on, some might be ott, however, we are probably just more vica

We all want to win things, not lose 7-0 and hover around mid table. I think spending £200m in the summer means that Bloom also would like to win things, so I am sure he was pretty pissed off on Sat. We are also allowed to be pissed off with how we have regressed slightly this season due to inane tactics.
