It's all out there. He was diagnosed as having a paranoid personality disorder and had access to guns.

Tragic case but he was an accident waiting to happen.

As mentioned above he was an active member of the BNP and wanted the country led by a far right dictator. No idea about the National Front but one of his uncles was one of the founders.

Pure coincidence but the current leader of the NF shares his name.
Oh, so that's why he was guilty then.

Just goes to show how bad debate has become in this country.

His actions rightly raised the issue of what is appropriate when defending your home. Particularly in isolated rural communities.

But this was a one off case and retrospectively he was somewhat "lucky" to get the reduced sentence he did.

We can't turn a blind eye to someone firing off an unlicensed firearm because we aren't America or South Africa.

Childish response for two reasons.

1) I was confirming something that was posted earlier.

2) His political activism occurred after he was released after his persona was effectively hijacked by grifter politicians, including UKIP.

It's very easy to find what he is was guilty of and why, so don't pretend otherwise.

Rare cases like this are highly complex, but I understand with the intervention of those with an agenda they can appear quite simple..

.. for the simple.

So it could be argued his ‘political activism’ could be symptoms of his mental health issues?

What anyone thinks of the bloke it was a true modern day tragedy, a young man lost his life, that said if the said young man hadn’t been acting illegally this would never have happened🤷‍♂️

Complete tragedy but unique circumstances. The justice system couldn't really win on this one.
