[Albion] Is there anything that is actually going well at this football club?

Yes. Yes there is :

- Squad oozing with the some of the worlds top young talent
- ...including several players that can go for £50m+
- We're minted (one of the richest clubs in Europe now)
- Despite recent results, we're still comfortably mid-table
-... and with an outside chance of Europe
- And despite recent results, we're still great to watch., most of the time
- Still in the cup... and you never know...
- Quality stadium
- Quality training ground
- Quality chairman and CEO

Any more?

Let's not forget where we came from. Yesterday's result was a disaster - but all things considered, things are pretty damned healthy at this football club.

Bring on the next fixture.

No one is questioning the club structure this weekend it has been about our hopeless managers tactics.
There is no need to go happy clapping for positives.
Presumably you’re questioning a structure that allowed him to be a) hired in the first place and b) not sacked - given you think he’s “hopeless”

Every day I happy clap the positives. Every time I read about the plight of a struggling club. Every time I remember standing in the rain on the windswept terraces of a northern outpost. Every time I recall the march to Mellor. Every time I remember being 1-0 down at Hereford that day. Every time I remember sitting in the pissing rain at Withdean.

It will take a lot more than a thumping defeat at a team destined for the Champions League, and then a bit more, for me to stop happy clapping my joy at the Albion we see now.

Can we just talk about our most recent performance without going back to the past?
I actually had a lot more enjoyment and happy memories trawling the lower leagues it was fun.

POTG train fare dodging to Plymouth or wherever avoiding a hail of bottles at West Brom, chased by Bristol Rovers finest.
Stuck on a train at Maningtree and missing the Ipswich game.
Walking into a street battle at Aldershot and then winning 4-1 happy days.
I just don’t get the relevance to what happened yesterday. TB has invested for PL football so lets discuss PL football.

We can talk about whatever we like.

Plenty of lower league teams in Sussex would love your support, if you feel it would stop you being such a negative bastard ☺️

I think it's important to remember that, despite yesterday, this is the greatest era of this football club - we are in a great position - so much so that "mid-table mediocrity" in the Premier League is regarded as disappointing for us fans these days!

The future is Brighton!

If missing matches and narrowly avoiding hospitalisations was classed as happy days, may I suggest you go down West Street before the Chelsea game, goad their fans, get chased, and miss the last transport to the match. You should suddenly feel a rejuvenating surge of contentment.

Well done on the Plymouth fare dodge. I managed Leicester once.

All that going for us. We just need someone who knows how to coach a team in the Premier League.

ummm that definitely suits your narrative, just giving us 24hrs to ponder over, so we all agree with you. The past is irrelevant - agreed, but the future is relevant - that's going to go one of a few ways..........or one way, if you get your way.

I don’t really care about league position as long as we can see progress on the pitch and say yep when this clicks we will be a force. I see us going backwards this season unfortunately.

You haven't been paying attention to NSC properly, young man.

"Hopeless recruitment....wrong appointments....need Winstanley back...."

and just behind the lips, bursting to break free and taste the cool winter air: "sack the board".

It's all here on North Stand Bott.

(People will scream and scream until they're sick)
