In much the same way we often go back for players we failed to land at the first attempt, I think we'll go back for McKenna in the summer. The only question is whether Hürzeler stays in post until then. After the performance against Everton and today's game, I don't think we'd get any worse if we decided to cut our losses and have Milner pick the team for the rest of the season.

A good suggestion and someone who would actually be available, terms of contract pay off by Man Utd notwithstanding.

But Bloom isn't a knee-jerk man and won't pull the trigger with 14 games to go in a season where we probably already have enough points to not be relegated. There'd have to be some serious shit going on behind the scenes.
Exactly, its limited risk, we are safe. You get a new manager in now to assess his squad, get coaching the tactics/style for the remainder of this season ready for next.

He's one of the highest paid managers in the PL - think it was reported as £6m per year plus a release clause. Would we pay it? If so, I assume he would only leave for us if they were relegated.

Anyway, here's a list of managers out of work right now.

Hm, interesting list. I hadn't considered Sean Dyche, but I suppose it would make sure we wouldn't have to play against any of his teams!

Nuno or Iraola.

Whoever it is including FH, Starlizard will need to get their arse into gear on player recruitment. Chasing value even if it’s the same positions on repeat, might need to be flexed?
Nuno has European football next season, he's going nowhere.

Iraola would go to a bigger club but would he handle our recruitment model or get frustrated like RDZ?

If Ipswich go down, going back for our first target McKenna makes most sense, he was clearly the number 1 choice and we ended up in this present mess because he said No.

I swear I’ve watched Sean Dyche win games at the Amex more than some permanent Albion managers

There's no point speculating on names, the club have a list and will pick the best man available on that list.

Hurzeler looks out of his depth, but i'm also worried that under him we've got no production from Ferguson, Enciso, Gruda, while our home form is woeful.
I think this is my biggest concern at the moment. It’s not what’s happening on the pitch, although today doesn’t help, but the fact that players don't seem to be improving and what looked to be key future talent keeps getting shoved out of the door. It all looks a little confused to me.
