We won't buy a better replacement.

I have the feeling that Mitoma will stay for a while. I don't think (purely on instinct, based on career decisions and interviews, nothing more) that he is as shallow and money driven as many other footballers/people. If he goes it will be for the footballing opportunities, not money. He seems like a very decent man. I really don't think he'd want to go anywhere near f*cking Saudi.
Really hope he stays but £90m is just daft money. No idea where his head is at obviously but would sense he’s perhaps less likely to want this than many other players perhaps. Smart move by the Saudis though potentially - instantly hugely increases the interest in their mickey mouse league in Japan.
I don't. If he wants to, fair enough, but he could stay long term and help get the club to where we want it to be.

An Argus source in Japan believes Mitoma would have no interest in such a move.
The source added: "He loves Brighton, which is very important. and, if he moves anywhere, it would be to a club who can play for Champions League, I think."
On top of losing a very good player, I think I'd miss all those smiley, enthusiastic tourists in WSL. There would be a lot if available seats.
