I’d be genuinely sad to see such a great player like him just get lost in such a footballing backwater.
Steady on. He’s not been linked with Palace.

Speaking of them, I guess not even the Saudis can afford to bid for their world class players.

I would hate to see Mitoma leave. He is possibly the most joyful player to watch I have ever seen.

I wasnt being serious x

I think me saying we'd be £654m a year worse off, given our turnover, made that quite clear that I was being silly x
He must be joking also, since he mentioned the ‘retailers’ get a chunk of the profit from BHA shirt sales!

Where has this £90m number come from sorry?

They’re reported to have offered €65m (£54.4m) - £90m is an increase of £35.6m or 65.44%…

As far as I can tell someone here has just suggested £90m and now everyone has it in their head?

He's 1 of the lowest paid in our squad if you believe Premier league salaries.
Then no should believe it as that will be utter bullshit

In the Argus now
But they have a promising source!

“The Japan winger is reported to be of interest from Al-Nassr, according to sources including The Athletic, Sky Sports and CBS.

He is said to have been targeted with an unsuccessful £54 million offer from the Saudi outfit.

But it would be a huge shock if the Seagulls were to let him go.

An Argus source in Japan believes Mitoma would have no interest in such a move.”

The source added: "He loves Brighton, which is very important. and, if he moves anywhere, it would be to a club who can play for Champions League, I think."

The Argus has a source in Japan? Will wonders never cease…

Now that is a shocker.

Surely they mean, “the Argus has a hack on the sauce in Japan…”

Yep, that’s more like it.

no, The Argus (and it’s budget) have a source working in a Japanese restaurant somewhere in Brighton. The source is not Japanese themselves and has not a connection with anyone associated with football but the employ makes them credible.
