Sounds like it won’t be anywhere near £90million in practice so doubt it would be enough in a Jan window when we wouldn’t be able to replace him

Think this will largely be dependent on what Mitoma wants. I don't think we want or need to sell him for £90m, but if Mitoma is inclined to sell out, that's probably the point we should accept...

I love the way it’s implied that of course any of that money might go towards better transport. We’ve already sold a number of players for huge amounts and yet mysteriously somehow can’t hire an extra bus or two from Eastbourne or Seaford when they’re needed.

Anyway unless the money gets just too crazy to resist I’m not sure he’d fancy the miserable glue factory of Saudi Arabian football just yet. Hope he doesn’t anyway.

The loss of yet more PL experience and a more senior member of the team. We have struggled when senior players are missing and the apparent clamour from some to "cash in" so we can acquire more youngsters doesn't make sense to me.

If we hold on, Chelsea might offer £100m given their record

On a more serious note, one thing the club should be armed with is the commercial boost his presence gives us. Japanese fans LOVE that merch, not to mention the profile boost in Japan itself.

Well no-one has offered £90m but if we did sell Mitoma I would be miffed. He is one of the few joys of traipsing up the Amex this season.
Really? He has been a bit crap imho at home.
