He is not at his best without Estupiñán who is currently injured.

We have a capable back up in Adingra and a number of younger left sided players who could take a bench role in case Simon gets injured.

We’ll probably but never get a higher bid for him. But…….eezzzz complicated.

We haven’t received a bid that high, yet.

Adringra is not a capable back up he’s even more lightweight than Mitoma

90m is silly money and we'd be mad to decline it. not a great time with Enciso going to Ipswich, but Pedro playing inside left is his natural position....

Folk talk about him being worth more to us, but in crude economical terms I cannot see how.

£90m is a lot to potentially place in a transfer kitty. And if Albion want to develop this squad to edge up its status I would say the hit has to be taken sometimes. This would be a hit, but perhaps not as major as we think.

Absolutely not.
We're still in the hunt for a European place.
He gets the fans off their seats on a regular basis.
Our Japanese fanbase would be devastated.
And most important of all, I've got an Art of Football Mitoma hoodie, so he can't go.

(Maybe in the summer, mind) :lolol:

We would never get another offer close to that if we decide not to sell this window. But with Enciso going on loan, we're left extremely light down the left. And at the moment our entire strategy seems to be give it to Mitoma and hope he does something.

£90m would be an extraordinary figure, and undoubtedly be excellent business

However the question posed in the OP is ‘would YOU sell him for £90m?’

Well personally it’s a no. I like watching Mitoma play football for Brighton. I’m not getting any of the £90m. So personally turning it down suits me better.
