Yes, but presumably he hasn’t said no if they have made 2 offers
Might have said no to the original offer so they came back with another one?

Anyway if he says yes and they’ll pay 90 million it is a complete no brainer

The absolute STATE of some of the comments there... 'fans' of Arsenal begging for them to be 'involved' in the Saudi's throwing their money around

View attachment 195867

I know it's some armchair fan/follower/fcukwit from some far flung corner of the globe who has never even thought about visiting Europe, let alone the Emirates, but WHAT IS THE POINT?

"pls involve us" :ffsparr:
I grew up in North London and most of my mates are season ticket holders at Arsenal. They are annoying as f*** and generally clueless about how football actually works, but they would never ever want anyone to buy any of their players, especially the Saudis.

Despite the volume of shit like the stuff you highlighted, you've got to remember that real fans don't talk like that. These people are interested only from arms length at trades and transfers and have no real connection outside of the dopamine hit Fabrizio personally hands them each time he tweets "Here we go..." . Come mid-February, they'll be back to tweeting about made up rumours for the summer whilst Arsenal flounder again to a second place finish.

Christ alive, I'm not sure how the club say no to this...

They can’t.

Especially as Adingra is not too shabby.

It’s the correct business decision @£90m but a terrible, awful kick in the proverbials for every fan of Brighton, the Premier League and Japanese football.

I’d be heart broken.

at £90m he's gone. All those saying he's too young, look at what the money dangled at 20 year old Jhon Duran has led to...

No brainer for the club. And I don't think it'll have the impact to the team it might have had 18 months ago.

Still way too young for semi-retirement in Saudi!
Whilst I agree with you, the same club are also signing 21 year old Jhon Duran

The lure of that league is increasing and it's not just a retirement home any more

Saying that the saudis surely wouldn't bother bidding unless they know he's interested
Yup. Anyone who thinks clubs put £90m on the table only to find out the player was always going to say no are insane. His agent will have been approached with a number that is lifechanging well in advance of receiving a formal bid.

Imagine only a few years ago being in a position where we turn down £50m for one of our players and hardly anyone really bats an eyelid about it
