Have a horrible feeling this will only end up one way. The wages he will be offered will be life changing.

If we can get £70m I’m sure both parties will come away happy.

Wide areas is the one position we are well stocked and that’s a huge amount for a 29 year old.

I think the club have to accept that and leave it up to the player. Heartbreaking if it happens.

Seriously though I'd be Knockhart level gutted if he goes this window. However if these wankers did offer £90m = no chance we're turning that down.

Don't want him to go obviously but gonna be slightly annoying next season when arsenal or the like come in with a 30 mill bid and we have to sell as player wants out to them.

Saying that the saudis surely wouldn't bother bidding unless they know he's interested

That will mean Adingra playing regularly on the left wing, which is where he wants to be. I suspect his output will be better than Kaoru, but will be less impactful for us in Japan.

I’m actually going to change my mind and say any fee of around 90 we simply can’t refuse it.

I'm sure this is a big consideration for the club - we get a lot of Japanese eyeballs on the club, purely because of Mitoma. Probably adds £20m to the club's valuation.

Great point.
The club will be thinking this. Always the intention to sell him but it won’t be at this price.
