Just caught up with final 3 episodes, have to say I'm not a fan of the Seer.
Part of me wonders if it might work better about halfway through the show, when there are more people to convince and people haven’t yet made up their mindsJust caught up with final 3 episodes, have to say I'm not a fan of the Seer.
Didn't really have a favourite but felt Charlotte's fate was sealed and that the end game was only ever going to be about how the money was to be split and not a traitor/faithful showdown.Did it influence who you were keen to not win who then did, or lead to someone you liked exiting?
Not reading the thread for spoiler reasons, but I have started watching S1 this morning.
I think I'm going to enjoy this, tbh I'm not sure why I've waited this long to dive in, on paper its just my kind of show.
Watched both Aussie series last year. The second one had one of the most obnoxious blokes Ive seen on any of these, and an absolutely brilliant ending ! I think the ending of Series 2 Australia is my favourite TV moment from any of the series. If you think our lot were thick as shit you should watch the Australian series
I see what you saying but I think it would be quite meaningless if it was too early. It certainly sealed Charlotte's fate and probably that of Frankie as well.Part of me wonders if it might work better about halfway through the show, when there are more people to convince and people haven’t yet made up their minds
Yeah the seer thing ruined it for me, spoilt any kind of jeopardy in the final as it was obvious charlotte would be voted off and then theyd vote off at least frankie in case she was bullshitting. Hope they don't repeat that next series! The producers played an absolute blinder all series until 'The Seer'. Charlotte was MOTM and fully deserved the win that was coming her way until the idiot Frankie chose her.
Sam. Unbelievable character. Bellend.....but what entertainmentWatched both Aussie series last year. What @Triggaaar said. Picking Freddie was mind numbingly stupid even before the seer card. Freddie's final vote for Charlotte sealed her fate, sowing a seed of doubt in Frankie's mind. Charlotte was heading for MOTM until she threw one in her own net.The producers played an absolute blinder all series until 'The Seer'. There were so many plot holes in the show. That said it was great fun and some very clever ways to put people in some very difficult positions!Did you actually watch the final? I appreciate it may have been edited, but Claudia put her hand the bag and threw the sachet straight in the fire.

The Seer might have worked with a modification: the Seer is faced with envelopes for every player. Inside each it says traitor or faithful. As soon as the Seer picks an envelope that has a faithful in it, they get to open another envelope with that faithful's name, and the advantage ends.Part of me wonders if it might work better about halfway through the show, when there are more people to convince and people haven’t yet made up their minds
I agree except that IMO Charlotte no longer deserved to win after so clumsily betraying Freddie. In his shoes there's no way I'd have let her get away with it. Instead she could have just recruited someone who wasn't suspected (eg, Leanne) and tried to win it with her.
Traitors who betray their fellow traitors usually get what they deserve.
