There are so many aspects to the format that just don't work.

Why, for example, do they let the branding team spend half a day designing a load of crap, THEN take it to a shopping centre to get a load of predictable feedback of how shit the logo is, and are then NOT given the chance to put it right?

Why are they given a task like designing a tour/experience, then get to charge what they like for producing a load of shit - with the "fine" of people requesting their money back being so clearly arbitrary?

The first episode of the last series took the piss. Some useless gobshite was clearly responsible for the failure, and yet Sugar fired the "quiet" one for the heinous crime of keeping his head down a bit.

I'll end up watching, enjoying some of it, but being infuriated at the inconsistency and injustice of a format that isn't really fit for purpose.

Really went downhill when the prize changed from being a job with the rotting turnip to it being a 250k investment in their business. I mean, why not look at all their business plans first and then just choose a decent one. Whole series could be done and dusted in an hour.

The format failed when the prize changed (apprentice yes, cash cow no), and when Nick and Margaret left.

Claude was ok but Baroness Brady is a complete disaster and does my head in. Having had dealings with her once around the time of the 2012 Olympics and realised that her Canadian husband should have been entering the 'wonderfully tolerant in the face of pathetic treatment from a spouse' event at which he would have won gold, she is the archetypal after timer.

I don't understand why they (allegedly) only look at the business plans at the end of the series. It means some unfortunate folk get all the way to the end, only to be told their business plan isn't good enough, so they were wasting their time (and everyone else's) all along.

Who is so health obsessed that they are going to go to the effort of buying a specific 'healthy' coffee, about 0.0000001% of the population, that's who. Not got 2 brain cells to rub together some of these.

I haven't seen it for years and years , it seems to changed its remit, a quick look at the contestants shows most already own their businesses, a chain of Knightsbridge salons, pizza restaurants etc for example. So they wont become apprentice to anyone, they are already reasonably successful in what they are doing , so what is the point in it all?

As a comparison, our current GB men's #10 player is a guy called Johannus Monday, who is ranked 393 in the world. I've never heard of him either.

Either way, to call himself a top UK tennis player is weird. I'm gonna hate him. Shame as I want to get into Padel.

Some of those business plans are ridiculous. Boba tea. Healthy coffee. Along with the usual "recruitment agent, hairdresser, fitness, dentist" crowd

Amber Rose looks like the only decent one.

The rest of them look like un-fuckable harridans.

It matters little. I haven’t watched it since about 2008 and have no intention of watching this series.
