But he had his 2 midfielders sold without adequate replacements and then a hideous injury list to contend with. Do you remember that?
Yes he had the best midfield in the club’s history in 22-23, certainly better than what FH has it his disposal right now.

We’ve had a few injuries this season as well.

I’m afraid that Uncle Tone may have made a mistake here. The process coach does appear quite clueless. Why are we soooo slow in the first half of games, and then trying too hard to attack quickly in the second half. Makes no sense to me. I still have not seen us play a full 90 minutes yet this season. Fab out for me

I have no particular beef with our season - I like that we take punts on young managers and players, and don’t think we should expect top-half finishes - but his team talks during the Japan tour and after United last week looked cliched and uninspiring. A Sunday League manager/AI bot would have come out with a few lines about togetherness and consistency. I wish the club hadn’t shared them.

What have our formations and styles been over the last few months? Are we above par for the amount of money spent?

Glad it wasn't just me who cringed at the United talk. I'd rather have not seen that

He is looking out of his depth a gamble that is not working at the moment . But of course he may come good or he could end up like Hypia
I think Tony Bloom will always do what’s right for the club so would not shock me if FH leaves at the end of the season if the football being served up at the Amex does not improve

What were your expectations? Not a loaded question, just a straightforward ask. What did you expect from this season?

Laughing at you Berks on this thread brings a little happiness after a bad result.

Clueless doesn't even begin to cover it.

We may have depth, but are you saying that Ayari & Baleba as current starting CM's are better than Mac Allister & Caicedo when we sold them?
Today’s issues were nothing to do with our CM options but you know that. FH has attacking options that RDZ could only dream of. One short on target with all that talent is criminal. We look absolute clueless.

If Fab was poached as next Chelsea manager the mythical Fab Out brigade would have a melt down. Very happy to be on the journey with Fab at the helm, very much Fab in for me.
That’s the thing, when Potter left it felt like a break up I was so angry and upset. If FH left it would be a shrug of the shoulders and then excitement that I think there is better out there. If Ipswich go down I would be revisiting that at the end of the season.

How would you have felt if potter had left 6 months earlier when we were on that 6 match losing streak, including 0-3 at home to Burnley who were relegated?

We should have gone all out on Iraola during the summer. We had the lure of lots of investment on the field incoming and he is exactly the sort of manager who'd get this team firing to its potential. Look at muff right now, they are playing exactly how we should be, high intensity and they somehow seem to manage it for 90 minutes.

Still, he's way above us now and will probably be the next Spurs or Chelsea manager within the year.

The only comment that comes across as clueless is you. Most of u

yep, he will be on the list for all top clubs. He’s out of our league now.
