I feel sorry for the people who have to work out a ROI plan for that pocket of land. Hotel maybe or perhaps housing for non-students. Looks like Farmer Bennett fleeced them good and proper. Shame he can’t pass down all the dosh to his kids now

Do you not think TB would have been involved in the idea and planning? Pretty certain that's not how our club works. Spending £40m is not day to day financials. We all know the loyalty scheme was designed by TB so he is quite a hands on owner.

On the contrary, in Japan when I was walking around Osaka, a Japanese family wanted a photo with me, in my Brighton shirt, when I mentioned Mitoma they looked at me funny and shook their head and slowly walked off :shrug:

My CPFC supporting mate is out there right now. Watched the Man Utd game in the Big Tree Bar, Bamburi Beach followed by the Cheers Bar, Bamburi. The videos he sent looked like a lovely place.

No, I don't. I think he will have left it to his CEO and deputy Chairman to get on with. I'm sure he's had stuff presented to him, but that's different.

Dicks Bar when it closes should be remembered with affection, but give the new Fanzone its own identity, then the 'Goldstone' in the 1901 East should be renamed after the club legend who has a table there every home game :thumbsup:

I still think its little remiss of the board not to have anywhere in the stadium named after Mike Bamber.
