Just far enough away from LDC
Just out of interest where on the website does it say that
Displaced ticket holders (c1500 peoole) due to chelsea higher allocation can select today from any not taken seats so they will see all available..suspect someone counted up

I always use the cup games to try out a different stand. Sounds like I’ll have plenty of seats to choose from!
I'm still not sure about going so didn't buy my tickets. I used to use cup ties as a way of trialling different areas as well (not so much recently). When the time comes to leave the family stand i certainly know where I won't be aiming for

Find it really hard to understand the lack of interest in this one. Our fan base is so flakey, it really is.

(Yes I realise "I live 100 miles away / I have young kids / I won't get home before midnight / I can't commit to every Saturday / I might get ill at short notice etc etc etc - that's exactly what flakey is in terms of a fanbase).

Really?

It's January, lots of people are skint and it's another twenty five quid on top of expensive season tickets, we play them later that week anyway, we have already been dicked by Chelsea, getting to and from the Amex is dogshit, no real loyalty point incentive, bullshit kick off time, it's on terrestrial straight after the rugby so you can watch in your living room without having to pay 7 quid for a flat pint in a flimsy plastic cup, potential for train carnage posy match if it goes to extra time and pens, shit weather.

I've just purchased my ticket. Mug.

SHOREHAM BY SEA
Add up all the available seats on each block - this was rough adding up could be 300 either way - but still a very slow take up from 20k STHs
TA…

.I’M one of those ST’s …just never got round to sorting a ticket out for my seat 🤦‍♂️……still I’ll be on the club website at 9 tomorrow and will just have to sit elsewhere, no problem …I won’t be missing the game

Yes. That's the very definition of flakey, when it comes to football fans.

It really shouldn't concern you or anyone else why people are going or not.

Not going. Will have few friends round and watch on TV. Travel to and from Amex is an absolute pain which happy to put up with for the league games. Am now using ST which is very expensive. Weather looks like been crap and doesnt help ST bus now gets there for some reason (i pressume at PBs instruction) over an hour before KO. which is not much fun in winter

My position exactly, including ST transport. It’s one thing being a loyal fan and quite another allowing yourself to be shafted by an 8pm Saturday KO. It’s entirely my decision how I spend my free time and anyone who wants to preach to me about what I ‘should’ be doing can do one.

Take no notice. It's just a wind up.

Cursed competition, playing them again less than a week later at home, both sides likely to play their full strength teams in the latter game so cup game just a warm up, AMEX shite to get away from a night game, still January so money is still tight. Plus i'm on holiday.

It doesn’t concern me WHY people aren’t going.

It concerns me if the ground isn’t full for a game like this. Football fans go on about how the FA Cup has lost its magic, and that we shouldn’t take replays away etc, but then can’t be arsed to actually turn up and watch it.
