'He doesn't sound like a Paddy- sound like a paddy...'
I've got that in my head now.
'He doesn't sound like a Paddy- sound like a paddy...'
Why would he? He was born, and grew up, in Mansfield.
I'll give it a shot *clears throat*:That’s the 4th ‘cash in’ reference on this thread. Anyone else want a go?
So Cashin in the attic?I'll give it a shot *clears throat*:
Apparently the deal is done but there's an issue with accommodation for the lad. So one of the current squad is going to put him up in their loft conversion.
That's right, it's Cashin the attic.
Regulary, we're terrible with a back 3 but that's nothing to do with Cashin! He's comfortable there.Left of a back 3 is a plausible position for him if we signed him. Has he ever done that job for you?
Good research He's just doesn't have the right shape or style to be a LB. He's comfortable on the ball and has a great long range pass, doesn't make him a 'ball player' per se but certainly can hold his own.Fair enough, seems like he only got one game as LB (a loss against Charlton - but he scored!).
Then again Igor also can't play LB and pretty much never did until he signed him. Sometimes the setup of our defence makes the "paper positions" false. For instance someone listed RB or LB on paper could actually be playing as LCB or RCB in reality.
Cashin doesn't seem like much of a ball playing defender but if he can do similar things as Veltman does to the right, he could be a more defensive backup for Pervis or play to the left of a back three.
I guess the other consideration is your parlous position in the league. Probably don't want to be selling without replacement when your that close to the drop zoneRegulary, we're terrible with a back 3 but that's nothing to do with Cashin! He's comfortable there.
SSN (there's a link to the article on the Ayari thread) seem to think the move's dead in the water now.I guess the other consideration is your parlous position in the league. Probably don't want to be selling without replacement when your that close to the drop zone
I seem to remember Boca being particularly displeased with the way we went about signing Barco as wellTony and Paul didn't moan as far as I know. They know how this business works. We're no angels either. It isn't that long ago we bought Buonanotte cheaply from the corrupt Rosario president just weeks before their members were going to vote him out. Sometimes you have to be as Veltman in business as in games.
Yeah but Riquelme really had no reason to moan about us, he was just butthurt. Lad didn't want to sign a contract with a bigger release clause so we used it.I seem to remember Boca being particularly displeased with the way we went about signing Barco as well
Yeh. This looking unlikely. Boscagli looking less likely. The club could pull out one of their late in the day signings from nowhere, but just as likely there's no defensive incomings this windowSSN (there's a link to the article on the Ayari thread) seem to think the move's dead in the water now.
