the club are trying to unsettle him and make him forse the move through by handing in a transfer request as he was upset the move didn't go through on deadline day

Surprising - I would have thought they would want to "cash-in"...

The next Liam Moore. Cashin will likely not thank them if he doesn't get a move, as we will move on to someone else.

Well we should have bid for him in the Summer then! That would have allowed them time to get in a replacement. It's no good us moaning when Arsenal unsettled Caicedo late in the January window when we'd said he wasn't for sale, and then us doing the same to someone else further down the chain.

Fair point, but I don't think we're moaning, my post was from the players point of view rather than ours.

Indeed, it's the way of the world.

At least we've done the decent thing and seemingly offered a fair price. It's up to them if they want to take it I guess. Offering a derisory amount would just have pissed them off - but that's the sort of thing classless clubs like Aston Villa do.

Understood, but he signed a new deal so must have known that would make it harder to leave.
But . . . Clever people sit down and agree . . .sign a new deal and theres a release clause to please all . . . .Mac Allister . . . Left on good terms, served us extremely well for a few years and we got a good return on the investment . . .not Caicedo money, but a good healthy and realistic profit. Everyones happy. More impoprtantly it bodes well for everyones future.

I know nothing of Cashin, I hope PB/TB has an up to date copy of the NDP to hand. . . . . In Gaelic as well as basic english . . .or American, if you like!

Tony and Paul didn't moan as far as I know. They know how this business works. We're no angels either. It isn't that long ago we bought Buonanotte cheaply from the corrupt Rosario president just weeks before their members were going to vote him out. Sometimes you have to be as Veltman in business as in games.

To go from being linked with Vitor Reis and Ousmane Diomande to the reality of a bid for Cashin is laughable. Defence is an issue and Dunk is on the decline, spend the money for a decent centre back!
Out of interest how many full 90 minutes have you seen each player complete?…

I’m suspecting 0 for at least 2 of them which to be honest makes your statement a little bit baseless.

Pretty sure they did moan! The media were briefed that the relationship with Arsenal was damaged.

Well if that random media report is correct beyond Paul Barber perhaps saying f*** off and hanging up the phone, it seems a bit naive from us because this is unfortunately how modern football business works.
