[Albion] The importance of those two wins

Probably stands to reason then that some of the winning goals we've scored come down to good individual player decisions.

Time to look forward, not back
It’s almost like the new players from last season are learning from mistakes, with more experience.

So had we only drawn those two games things would we only be toxic and not very, very toxic. I wonder whether the clubs in positions 12 to 20 are suffering toxicity problems too?
Yes. Maybe not Palace as they are where they belong (with a decent trend) or Brentford since they can't realistically ask for more. Ipswich people I guess may have some understanding as well. The rest... yes.

To be fair, we have given up 2-0 leads in the final 7 minutes twice in one season.

These things happen but to find two further 2-goal capitulations in the final 10 minutes, I reckon you'd have to trawl through two maybe even three seasons across the rest of the teams in the league combined.
Everton gave up a 2-0 lead in the 87th minute when they capitulated 2-3 against Plucky also this season !

I've said it before, every team can beat any other team in the PL and weird shit – such as giving away leads late in games – is always going to happen during the course of the season. If you are pondering what the outcome of one or more of those draws could've been, then you should also be pondering what the outcome of games where we scored late goals to rescue points or earn wins could've been too.

Yep, I get that. It's a bit like an accident, there is never one single cause! Just in those two instances we could see it unravelling in front of our eyes. Igor suddenly deciding he was Messi, and wanted to dribble past everyone and Wieffer, with a choice of 4 of our unmarked players to pass to elected to give it to an opponent!

As a supporter of 50 (very) odd years, it is no more or no less than I would expect from the Albion... ;)

The way this season has panned out so far, it would be really depressing if the top 4 ended being Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea (I wouldn't bet against it).

The travelling can be more fun than the destination. I think the top 4 will be those but that doesn't spoil the fun and the degree of uncertainty en route. Forest, Bournemouth, Brighton, Fulham as well as Villa and Newcastle are chasing the established brigade and closing the gap. It wasn't so long ago that the club issued a separate fixture notice release with dates of games against 'top 6'. No longer for obvious reasons.

I know it's probably frowned upon my many, but I'm very much a 'one game at a time and enjoy the ride' Albion fan. All this worrying about upcoming games and just HOW season-defining they could be is really not my bag, I'm afraid.
