Sussex but not by the sea
Some managers seem intent on creating their own problems. Postecoglu will not change his system despite not having the team available to play that style, same with Amorim, Arteta only signs defenders and defensive midfielders despite needing a striker, RVN won't play his best player because of his issue with loans, Russell Martin lost his job because he wouldn't adapt his system.

Somebody should tell these managers that having a system is great, but being too proud to adapt is problematic. Their first priority has to be winning games but, weirdly, it isn't
Which is why the most impressed I've been with FH to date was after the Chelsea match, he pretty much ditched the high line, admitted he didn't really have the players to play it as he wants to. He might bring it back but I suspect only once he's had another couple of transfer windows.

He’s gone, isn’t he?

Cant see this happening unless he agrees to extend his contract or there’s a decent obligation to buy at the end of the loan period. Neither Leicester or Ipswich ( or Julio) will want the latter as those teams are likely to be relegated.
Atalanta have now bought Amorim from Newcastle so they won’t be able to get near our valuation for him. Cant see Valencia being able to loan with the purchase obligation. So if he refuses to sign a new contract I think he’ll stay where he is for now and probably be sold in the summer. Team like West Ham.

I certainly think he thinks he’s going, to put it another way. The waving and staying late with the fans and all that was very performative.

No, wrong team. Assuming you mean Almiron - Atlanta FC (🇺🇸) are buying him and Atalanta BC (🇮🇹) are interested in Julio.

Didn't you give a little wave as you left the empty Amex at the weekend? ???

"Off to Wet Sham or Everton written all over" your leatherette gloves? ???

Unless the player actually have attitude problems, in which case I imagine the West Ham manager is aware of it.

Italy, Spain or Portugal is my bet.
