Our points lost from winning position stat hasn't increased for 3 games in a row.
He’s a feisty one!Solly looked like the Solly of old. Brilliant on and off the ball, a couple of great touches and tackles, and as others have said, ready for a bit of a battle. Absolutely remarkable and something I didn't think we'd see this season if ever.
Our best 2 players today were in central midfield and they are both 21 years old.
I'd add Hurzeler seems to be improving, his subs are making more sense and we have finishing tight games without panicking.
Not taking anything away from us but its easier to create big chances when your opponents want you to, like today. We scored 3 goals from only 6 chances created according to the stats so much better and clinical when sometimes we have 20 odd and struggle to score
Isn`t he great , what a top player and a lovely blokeOur strongest Xi started ? (bit unfair on Rutter I know)
Toby didn't have his best day... they lost the little they had when they did that change. Seen him in other games though and he's a good talent. Feck knows if he did the right choice moving to Manchester though where every kiddo gets the pressure of being the saviour of this crumbling football club.Three Sussex lads who had come through the youth system on the pitch at the same time (well, okay, one of them was playing for United!).
Yes you are , how they set up at home is up to them , how we score 3 from 6 is up to us .Not taking anything away from us but its easier to create big chances when your opponents want you to, like today.
Aw man, I was watching Solly and missed Joel... please, please, please let there be a gifSolly squaring up to that goof and then getting applauded by Joel really made me laugh
Absolutely. Just saying its easier to be efficient when the opposition goalie says "here, take the ball and put it in the net" or when they decide to push their wing backs up to give Minteh and Mitoma full access to all sorts of Mancunian cavities.Yes you are , how they set up at home is up to them , how we score 3 from 6 is up to us .
I don`t know what you`re saying , if you mean our tactics were better than theirs then i agree but , if you are saying we scored 3 goals because they let us then i don`t . I just think we were the better team and i don`t feel the need to pick our performance apart and give any credit to them .Absolutely. Just saying its easier to be efficient when the opposition goalie says "here, take the ball and put it in the net" or when they decide to push their wing backs up to give Minteh and Mitoma full access to all sorts of Mancunian cavities.
JV must join the back room staff as a ‘specialist’ coach when he hangs his boots up.Solly squaring up to that goof and then getting applauded by Joel really made me laugh
Comment on the day/week/year so far, great to hear.Solly looked like the Solly of old. Brilliant on and off the ball, a couple of great touches and tackles, and as others have said, ready for a bit of a battle. Absolutely remarkable and something I didn't think we'd see this season if ever.
