It's a big big deal just because of who they are, and to be enjoyed every single time. Six wins out of the last seven is getting ridiculous now though!

The wins over Bournemouth and Newcastle are much more impressive results, but this is certainly the most fun.

For people of a certain age, This

Oh come on .... it's brilliant to beat them. Their fans chirp away in every office, school playground, - wherever you go you find them (along with Liverpool), taking over the discussions, the moral high ground, the glory glory trophy counting, mostly from fans who have only been to the north west of England to go to matches..... And just 20 years back, I used to take my son to football training etc, he'd be there in a Brighton shirt ...pretty much alone amongst a sea of Brighton born red shirts.
It's FANTASTIC to beat them, and beat them again, and yet again........ long may it last.

It’s truly joyful just to go into school tomorrow to bait all the kids who support Man Utd.
Yep, I have two classes to teach tomorrow afternoon. My lessons are on Google slides. Guess which result will flash up on one of the slides....probably with a lovely picture of Minteh/Mitoma or Georgino. Choices choices lol!

I will always love beating Man Utd, especially at Old Trafford. Being at school in the late 90s, surrounded by glory-hunting United fans, they've always been a team I've wanted us to beat.
This is it for me. I despise Man United because of this.

It's a very good question and yes it's still very good to beat Manchester Utd obviously you get the lovely 3 points but worldwide more people watch Man Utd games than any other team so whilst in the main the large audience want a Utd win I've no doubt before much longer you'll see the nippers wandering around Manchester with their replica Brighton and Hove Albion shirts on because frankly if you can't beat em join em 😁

A consequence of their global 'pull' over recent decades makes this result a big deal. There will be 'fans' all over the flat earth really upset. SSN post match could only really talk about them. Not bothered about that.

That we go there with no fear anymore is telling. Fukk 'em.

Man Utd will always be a big club with huge support and great individual players who can hurt you. The world takes notice of their results, so our reputation as a club grows with results like this.
