People go on holiday every day, such is life.

But this is a BHA fan site - do we really need to know where people have gone?

I genuinely have no idea where any of these places are?.

Tokyo? Never ‘erd of it. Benidorm? Where’s that? New York? I’ve heard of the old one.

I don't think anyone has every seriously wanted to know where a sports bar is in a particular destination. The subtext is always "hey everyone, look at me, i'm going somewhere nice"

I’m sure wherever I say, loads of people will pile in with comments like “oh, I love it there and have been back 10 times” or “you must visit this bijou cafe in the artistic quarter where we stayed the last time we went there”

I recently spent two weeks in Höör as a dog sitter and was thinking about making a thread about pubs in Höör showing the games.

I never did. And also didn't go to a pub in Höör. Thats the penalty I got for being too shy to ask for advice.

Long live the "anyone know a pub in rural Kazaksthan" stuff!

I enjoy them, and I have asked for advice before. Lots of well travelled people on here, which is a great resource for insider knowledge - indispensable when you're away, and marginally less moronic than TripAdvisor.

This is true of the town in Portugal I frequent the most. But there are also Portuguese bars which are fun to watch any team with Portuguese players / managers in.
