Not in his first season he didn’t. The hypocrisy on here is outstanding at times. Football you are only as good as your last game what they have done in the past has no bearing on what they may achieve in the future unless you can buy the best players in the world of course.

Without dragging RDZ into the equation which I didn’t surely it’s only mid point in Bund to? Plenty of football left.

:facepalm: I haven’t dragged anyone into anything, it’s called a comparison - it’s meant to put things in perspective, and perspective is clearly something you lack if your response to a draw against Southampton is to call for the manager’s head. Did you want De Zerbi to go after the Sheffield Utd and Burnley results? If not, why should Hurzeler? We had lost more league matches under De Zerbi by this point in the season.

As for whether Sahin should go, yes, there are in fact plenty of games left for Dortmund to play. And if I were a Dortmund fan, I’d be questioning whether Sahin was the right manager to see out the season considering my expectations and his performance so far. All quite straightforward.

I said to the Bobkin Jnrs during the game on Saturday that we missed Pascal more than anyone else this season. One of them made the point that he might not still have it in him, but I'm not so sure. His creativity was off the charts – even at the back end of last season – and I don't think anyone has come near his level of contributions this season. Even a half-fit, older, slower Groß would slot right in somewhere, I reckon.

Still gutted he left. Still would take him back in a heartbeat.

Not working out for him? Pardon? For their Champions League and Bundesliga matches he's started or come off the bench in every single game he's been available for. Only missed 2 by suspension. Given how hard it can be to break into a new team I'd say his involvement is probably better than even he'd have hoped for!
