Man Utd on Sunday...another away game and another toll road.

Just looking at best route to get there and it seems to add an extra 30 mins to the journey by avoiding the M6 toll.

What's the best recommendation and what would be the cost of the toll fee?

Time it saves depends on when you’re travelling but I always use it. Services on it are much nicer than most too.

Sunday should be just as quick via the M6 rather than the toll. Also, as you approach the M40 split (M40/M5 or M42/M6) the signs will show the quickest way to Spagetti Junction. The football coaches go via the toll as they get free travel if they stop at the services*

*Quick coach story. Manchester requires 2 drivers. When they stop at the services both drivers show their credentials and get a free pass each, one going and one for the return, thus no need to stop there on the return.

A Southampton supporting mate of mine drove up on Thursday. Apparently Old Trafford Cricket ground has bags of space and is 12 quid to park.

Looking at the 'preparing for Manchester' pics on the website... It's so clear that we've really missed some of the leaders in our squad, that are now back. Through this season we've missed Dunk, Welbeck, Webster, Veltman, Solly, and Milner. That is a huge portion of our experience/leadership to be missing from our match day squads. All but Milner are now back. Glad to have them available!
