Can't believe how many people keep parroting this bolleaux. Guess it's always safer to stick with the crowd who really dig the emperor's new clothes rather than hazard an original opinion. Oh well, Benny has a clean slate at West Ham. Let's see how long it takes them - in particular the fans - to suss him out for the over-promoted mediocrity that he is. Six months max I reckon. Less if he disrespects the wonderful knowledgeable fans
Yeah, well you thought Glenn Murray was shit (One In Ten Glenn, oft repeated on here) and had a running agenda against him too, so your opinions are often WAY OFF

How lovely that I live still live inside your head with an honestly expressed opinion - which was quite correct in real time - from about 20 years ago.

And aren't you the reincarnation of @Icy Gull, the snide that deliberately did a Potter In/Out poll week after week with no Fence option, thereby deliberately setting fan against fan. You must be very proud

Yep, but then I prefer to back the managers and players, not diss them ad infinitum, even when they’ve left

There are plenty of reasons to diss how Potter left but to deny he was good for us prior to his Judas act is not a good look

Edit: I like you in the main, so I’ll back off now.

What am I ‘revising’ if it’s hypothetical?

Your post (born out of a profound emotional response of anger rather than reason is obviously from someone who is still hurting after Potter’s departure) makes no sense. Some of our more delicate little flowers are obviously going to be scarred for life from the Potter exit.

To be clear Potter left us in 4th place in 2022. We were playing very well indeed. RDZ came in and set his priority to changing the team’s style rather than winning matches. We then took 1 point from a possible 12 as a result. If we’d continued under Potter, I have no doubt that we’d have won most of those games because most importantly (and something you are blind to due to your utter hatred of the man) we had the players. We finished 6th despite the wobble after Potter leaving, there is no reason to think that without the wobble, we’d not have finished 4th.

Don’t ever call my posts hypothetical BS again. I’ve ripped you to pieces and shown you up for the pathetic melt you are. I’ll do it again if you have another emotional breakdown. Man-up FFS and get over the Potter thing. It’s getting dull now.
He left us in 4th place after 4 wins....2 of which were versus sides that would go on to be relegated

In the interests of balance we won away at the team that went on to come 3rd.

But let's not reinvent history. He was good in his last few weeks, but not that good.

Who I put on ignore for making 'mindist' comments about mental health.

Oddly, although I see the presence of Potty and a couple of other internet pests I have banished by virtue of the litany of mocking replies to their posts, it as if Icy doesn't exist.

Haven't yet put these intriguing data through the ingnorebeast computer, but I'll wager it means something

I'm sure you will be able to manage the piece that I have left in peace.
Saluting your indefatigability, as per.

14th would be a shit show, can’t see Bloom being happy with that at all after his ‘Europe why not’ at the beginning of the season.

If he expected Europe this season, it makes no sense getting in a Manager with no top flight experience (let alone someone who hasn't got a team to or playing in Europe).

With a large spend and keeping hold of our best players during the summer it was an odd approach. With a player from a lower league they can be coached to a higher level, the question is who coaches the head coach?

Our best player left in the Summer.

I have a feeling that Potter's West Ham will finish above us by the end of the season. Hope to be proved wrong!
Watching the highlights, I noticed a few things that Potter never delivered for us.

1. Opposition cross bar strikes instead of goals.
2. Opposition (especially Fulham) gifting goals.
3. Greased up gimp-boy Traore missing a sitter.

Has Potter suddenly turned into a lucky manager?

Yes. Outplayed at home.

For us, it was the polar opposite of a possession game and decent approach play, indecisive attempts.

£90m Paqueta and Kudus the difference?
