Fair point. But they still beat us last time out, that's where the doubt comes from.
Of course, and as a fanbase im sure you cant help but remember previous failings and disappointments - its the way it works! - but the players dont take that on board, they dont care about previous seasons and traumas, they'll just want revenge on a team that beat them earlier this season. I think you'll be fine

I feared for the worst after both teams' opening drives, but yeah, you were comfortable in the end. And although I want the Lions to win the Superbowl (sorry!) I will of course be 100% behind the Bills next week.

As an aside what's that new stadium they seem to be building next door? Are you getting a new ground?
Yes, new stadium opens for the 2026 season. Unfortunately the next season will likely be the last for a lot of us as the stadium PSLs are high for many of the fans in the Buffalo area.

To sit in the lower bowl between the goal lines you are looking at 5 - 8 thousand for a license for the right to buy your tickets (up to $40k per seat in the fancy clubs).

Iā€™m not paying that. Hopefully enough fans say no and they have to dramatically lower them for the upper bowl.

Anyway, I greatly enjoyed this season and will enjoy next season, and see what happens

Frustrating. Darnold in the last 2 weeks seemed to have reverted to his old self.

There's some blame being put on the o-line as he was sacked 9 times, however he had at least 3.2 seconds to throw after every snap. He froze and we suffered.
The screen pass where he just waited to be sacked when Jefferson was open sums him up for me...

Oh well, the Lions to uphold the NFC North...Who'dve thunk it for the last 50 odd years ( bar last year of course )

Another stinker from Darnold. As a Seahawks fan it pains me to see the Rams advance, but that was very disappointing from the Vikings.

Overall, not a great WC round. Only Washingtonā€™s FG doink win the result of a competitive game, the others were largely one-sided and flat.

Still, at least weā€™ve all seen Skyā€™s trailer for its Colin Firth Lockerbie drama 582 times now. Iā€™m not coping either.

Decided to pop along to Covent Garden to see Jenufa at the Royal Opera House in attempt to keep myself awake for the big game Sunday morning. Cannot wait for the Detroit game, I'd be stunned if we can pull off the upset but I do think Washington will make it a competitive game.

Could not believe the Vikings collapse last night, a great season undone by two bad weeks and Darnold may have played himself out of a new contract now which I consider a great shame.

Yep it'll be getting JJ McCarthy back to fitness and him being number 1 next year. Possibly even starting the season with Jones. Before the Lions game there were rumours that Darnold was to get a 150m contract. I think he'll have a similar contract to Mayfield as in a team will take him for a year because this year's QB draft isn't great, whilst the year after has quite a bit of talent.

IMO the last two weeks showed the difference between an elite quarterback and a good quarterback.

So if you are a vikings fan I assume you are mightily pissed off today

What was that call where the Rams qb dropped the ball right only for the call to be an incomplete pass. Total BS by the referees

Anyway EAGLES now at home Sunday to the Rams Sunday and it is ours to lose here!!!!

Wouldnā€™t have thought us making last 8 after the first few games

COME ON YOU MIGHTY EAGLES. šŸ¦…

Goff stinking out the joint sees the end of the Lions ( although no de-fense doesn't help )

NFC North 0-3 in the playoffs, so much for the powerhouse division of the NFL...

Well done Washington, their Dan better than our Dan

Feel a bit sorry for Detroit, they deserve a shot at a SB.

The prospect of Kansas featuring yet again, however, is mightily tedious.

Why am I awake? I should be sleepin. Absolutely buzzing after one the greatest wins I have seen Washington get in decades. What a performance, Daniels was nails, we had a running game, the D made the plays, the coaches outdid themselves. Just unreal I could not be happier for this team and this fanbase.

A thought for Detroit too who have given everyone so much pleasure this season, I guess the injuries on Defense robbed that fanbase the chance to see them realise their potential, they will be back next year though. The Lions are a good team and I expect them back next year with more fire and fury, that offense is just frightening.

On to the Championship game next week. Raise Hail!

Tell me and other Texans fans about it. Being knocked out by the Chiefs in 2019-20 at Arrowhead having been 0-21 up after Q1 still stings.

Hammered by the Ravens last season in the Divisional Round, the Texans have never got any further than the last 8.

But that's always likely to happen when the AFC South provides the 4th seed in 5 of the last 6 seasons.

It's pretty much a bye to the AFC Championship game for the top seed opponents!

Still, a decent season overall factoring in all our injuries. Plenty to build on.

I feel like it's the most pathetic thing to say but it is absolutely insane the protection Mahomes receives from referees. I know refs do their best but you never see things going against them.

Phenomenal win! The way your lot have gone under the radar has been brilliant. I think if the Eagles win tonight, the whole NFL will be rooting for you.

1 for 2 for me last night. Really wanted a Lions/Chiefs SB

As a Chiefs fan even I was shaking my head at that call, but it did go from the ridiculous (including Mahomes slowing up when heading out of bounds) to the sublime with the pass while going down to Mr Swift.
