[Albion] Pickpocket attempt in the North Stand concourse

Just a little reminder that we should be vigilant in crowded areas. Even in places like the North Stand concourse where we think that we are all friends!

My wife had someone put their hands into her handbag after the match on Saturday in the North Stand concourse. We were against the wall by the bar opposite entrance B. Luckily my 14 year old son saw this happen and as the guy realised he'd been nabbed, ran off into the crowd with just a pack of tissues for his reward.

We didn't chase after, but it was certainly a wake up call.

Well, after his failed effort, at least he'll be able to dry his eyes.

CCTV in the concourse, I would let the club know, we do not need this when we have our guard down thinking we are amongst like minded folk.

Should have chased after him, a lifetime ban from the Amex should be the minimum outcome, utterly despicable.
It was my 14 year old boy who saw it happen. By the time he'd registered what happened it was too late and to be honest I'd rather that he didn't chase the guy.

Done. I doubt they will be recognisable though, unfortunately.

You would be surprised, once they have a target, they can check throughout the system during the match and before, even if they had their face covered, they will have some distinguishing features on their clothes or shoes and at some point their face will be visible probably at the bar, heck I think they could even track them coming in and knowing the ticket etc etc etc.

Do they still insist on the removal of face coverings on entry for facial recognition photos? Or has that stopped?
