Chuffed for him, he improved us and that is not a put down on Igor who also did well.

I am pissed as watching Albion on the tv rather than at the game, which I chose not to attend due to health problems for my wife, meant an open bar to watch the game.

I will regret this in the morning but being retired it matters not, the dog will get a late walk

As with most players, you give them a run in the team and they will get there. He has most of the attributes of a decent PL defender and we need him. Well played big man.

Historically when Adam comes back from injury he can look a liability and takes a few games to get up to speed. However, today total respect as he was right on it from the moment he came on.

Was just going to mention him in the match day thread but I had found this thread beforehand. Glad that other fans felt the same way I did after his performance today, he was absolutely excellent. Deserves a start in the team in my opinion, he made our typically fragile defence (this season) look strong. Well done Webster!

Was a bit worried only because he often seems to need a game two to get back up to speed post injiry, but he was on it today from tbe moment he stepped on tbe pitch. Great performance.

Superb when he came on. The change in style suits him I think. Allowed to focus on defending - which he was always good at - rather than being expected to carry the ball forward all the time or play risky passes.
