I was looking for the think tank "More In Politics" as per the OP, which is why I couldn't find the info you did...

Still not sure why, just 5 months into a new government, we are even having these sort of conversations.

I've been around for more years than I care to remember and don't ever recall anything like this since day one of a government...

The control of the political media has changed and is going to get worse when the Musk/Trump dynamic duo ride into town!

To be honest, I'm not sure why would quote me and post this ?

Is it because you are desperate for me to acknowledge your existence ? Because, every time you quote me, I could give a thumbs up if that's the case, whether the posts are funny, inane, stupid or completely pointless like this one. It wouldn't take much of my time, and I I could just put it down as part of my charity work, if it keeps you happy. Like this :thumbsup:

And let's face it that would be better than me having to explain to Mrs Wz why there's an elderly Brighton cabbie who's stalking me and commenting on every post I make on NSC (and no it's not my fault, I always tip them when they drop me off) :lolol:

I hoped that the demise of the print media would release their stranglehold on the UK electorate but alas the right still seem to be leading the tune.

Not really a political media issue. I can think of at least 2 reasons why.

Labour won big on a split RW vote, there is no mandate and little love.

Due to the last decade being poisoned with the culture war people are sick of it especially "woke", Labour have been in the wilderness this time and get elected so rub their hands thinking "Time for some woke"..... KABOOM!

This iteration of the left which grew out of the US civil rights movement is effectively dead in the water, they just don't know it yet.

So Reform has an 11% increase in its vote, but from what, to what? 100 to 111?

As far as I can find out, Reform have won 7 local council seats since the GE, while the Conservatives have gained 24 seats, which doesn’t correlate with the percentage of vote gain.

It‘s all stuff and nonsense, being driven by largely right wing media and social media accounts, who have suddenly realised that 5 years is a long time to keep digging up ”scandals” that nobody cares about…

What have Labour done since coming to power that you consider is "woke".

Interested to hear your definition of it via actual examples.

Well not since coming to power but the top answer MUST be Sir Keir Starmer not giving an answer to the question, “What is a woman?”

The most powerful member of the Labour Party himself called him out on it :

“Tony Blair tells Starmer to drop ‘woke’ politics and focus on economy.”

Not answering a question is a non-action. So if that's the 'top answer' it highlights nothing.

I'm after actual examples of things that have actually happened. What I was asking is what actual policies introduced or actions done that are "woke"? What has Labour introduced / plan to introduce that is "woke".
