Baleba getting even better - gets around the pitch so much and gets us out of danger.🔥

Dunk excellent after some regular game time again, after being written off by the bed wetters.👌

Tariq the same. Was written off by the bed wetters and played great today.👌

Fab forced into changes today, but made it work and made subs at the right time. We could have won it.👌

We didn't lose at Villa.🔥

No new injuries. 🙌🥳

Minteh, Gruda, Ayari etc. are all aged 20/21 and for what anyone says, broadly holding their own today in the PL against a Champions league team. For many they're still setting into the league/team/country and getting first regular minutes. That's pretty amazing. 🤩

I've said this a few times, but if the bed wetters can remember Balebas first 6 months and where he is now. Now think of our young signings and what the future holds.😎

Hopefully this result will get more supporters supporting and being positive, instead of the sea of negativity so many post.🤞

Let's start the new year on a high and looking upwards! 🎉
Baleba was my motm today.

Dunk bailed him out you mean. I don't like slagging off my team, but he doesn't fill me with confidence when he has the ball, or when he doesn't have the ball...he's young but needs stabbing with a pointy stick to get him moving sometimes
This is the positives thread, remember? 😂

For something you don’t like doing, you’re doing a lot of it in various threads. Cheer up!

The reactionary yo-yo-ing comments on the matchday thread were of a particularly high standard. Funny how a load of the REAL moaners seemed to go very quiet after the equaliser...

As I said the other day - we are difficult to beat. Half way through the season and only Liverpool and Arsenal have lost fewer games than us.

It's a good basis from which to work from, and as we all know we just need to convert a number of these draws into wins.

I'm confident we are, albeit slowly, moving in the right direction, and my BIGGEST hope for the 2nd half of the season is that we have fewer injuries and players out. When, if ever, has FH had a fully fit squad to pick from? The answer is he hasn't yet.

An excellent stream allowed me to watch the game at home and not have to drive home from Birmingham. Bad fan but happy.

Can I also add that Ipswich got their first home win today - which is a real positive as I feared we might serve it up in January as we were their next home game . (Thanks Chelsea :ROFLMAO: )

The guys knocking young Lampety and Adingra saying they were too lightweight , might realise that the pair are a handful and have a place in our squad, better still Fabian has noticed this. If we had used March we would have won today, we needed more quality in possession.

Good post @Reddleman nothing really to add, other than Ayari and Baleba did well against McGinn et al, remembering how badly Gilmour and Hinshelwood did last year.

(I realise it was Hinshelwood’s debut, but the point remains).
Ayari and a Baleba did fantastically well because yet again they are getting outnumbered in the midfield and worked their socks off. Just wish Hurzeler would realise that adding a third midfielder, particularly at the expense of Enciso would make a huge difference and make us a far better and stronger team. O’Riley could play that third midfield role really well and still provide a good attacking threat.

Great team performance tonight - that’s a very tough place to go, they were very physical for 90 mins and the pace of the game was unreal for the whole 90 mins ( literally non stop end to end excitement ) - I’m very proud of the way we scrapped and got the deserved point

Got a point from what was without a doubt one of our worst performances this season. Maybe the worst.

The quality of our 2 goals alone make it definitely not our worst performance of the season. It was a high tempo, frenetic game in which they pressed very aggressively, which didn't make us look great at times but we defended well in backs to the wall style for quite long periods when they were dominating midfield (despite Baleba's defiance). We had them on the ropes for much of the last 20 minutes.
This was not a bad performance.
