Our ongoing inability to see out games - especially where we've had a two goal advantage - will be far more costly than enjoying a bit of schadenfreude in Fulham beating that awful club
Just imagine where we would have been in the league now if The Boy Wonder could actually coach the team to defend!
Would be top 4 if we had a bit of resilience and a bit more experienced head coach!

On 94’ hopeless distribution from Sanchez at Chelsea, a pathetic hoof, seconds later two Fulham players are left unmarked to finish …. and one does. Well done @BrightonCottager , that makes up for the outlaws overstaying :D.

Love Silva’s passion on the touchline, no issues from me on managers doing that.

Amazon Prime multi games …. what’s not to love.
Cheers, @Weststander.
Best Christmas present Ive had since 1979, and extremely good for mental health!

Point each would have been my best result. Don't like the idea of writing off the season ..

The Albion players and FH need to find ways to get over the line with wins. Control the controllables. Then we’ll ascend obviously. Lots of football still to come.

Our poor form and regularly dropping the ball, won’t preclude many of us laughing when thevile Chavs lose.

Confess to looking down rather than up these days. Not despairing but having trouble following a process which is not inspiring.

BAH. Thought of switching over to the Chelsea - Fulham game but finished watching Newcastle beat a dead horse.

Chelsea have been alright this season but think they've had a lot of luck with suspensions and individuals bailing them out in tight games. Defensively then don't look much more solid than last season. Both Sanchez and most of the defenders are upper half PL players but maybe not quite good enough to win a title.

Fulham... well. Anyone EVER seen them lose a game?

Worryingly for our very hypothetical Europa dreams is that Nottingham are up to no good and looking very solid. Can't see them finish in CL places but maybe 6th or 7th.

I’ve seen us beat Fulham nearly every time we played them, but not in the PL

I reckon Chelsea reached their peak for the season the day we played them

Do you think we’ll beat Brentford? I see a draw.

I think we’ll have a 50 points season. But the run of PL games after Brentford, none of them are easy to say the least.

I genuinely don’t see where the next win is coming from. I am gagging to be surprised, and I probably will be, when I least expect it

Good point about their injuries, someone posted a list of player unavailability recently by club, they were lucky with the lowest stat I think.

The shockers were patently Stains, Ipswich and Wolves at home. Cannon fodder on their travels for everyone else. 6 points blown, 3 of our ‘easiest’ fixtures ticked off.

Fine not thinking we'll go to Europe, I don't think so either. But looking down? On what? Don't tell me you believe that the very very sad bottom 4 are going to come and f*** with us? Because its just not happening. Maybe in a dream world one of them find some golden magic egg or something but three of those four teams are going down unless someone gets a fat point deduction.

Nope but I think we have more chance of slipping into the bottom half than climbing back into Euro contention. Relegation is NOT happening.

Inconvenient but I’ll allow it to spite Chelsea. Congratulations @BrightonCottager
I'm glad that Albion have grown to hate Chelsea in recent seasons. We've got reasons going back to the formation of that club in the late 19th century but it's the general arrogance, thuggery, condescension and entitlement of it and their fans (except one I know in Brighton) that fuels our hatred these days.

The penny has dropped with you as well.

I was going to have a night off the booze today but that's gone out the window!

Yeah I can agree with that. Its goddamn tight though.

Very intriguing for once, with three of the "big 7" clubs suffering some sort of mini crisis-collapse and the "8th" (Villa) also looking vulnerable.
At the same time Forest, Fulham and Bournemouth look strong and consistent while we have shown glimpses that indicate we can beat anyone on a good day.

Winner and (especially) relegation seems pretty straight forward but all of the rest is just chaos.
