It looked as if he could easily have grounded his foot to the right of the Newcastle player, but chose to move his foot to the left and planted it on the guy’s back.
looked as though it was a fairly natural action, unfortunate, but not malicious. given that the red card for norgaard was overturned a few weeks ago, which i was very surprised about, i reckon they’ll definitely at least appeal. it’s a panel of ex-pros, who, it seems, tend to
be more sympathetic to that kind of ‘accidental collision/impact’ stuff

duran one could very well get appealed and overturned. looked fairly accidental to me.
Naaaah the whole scene with screaming and kicking water bottles and whatnot makes me think it won't be overturned even if the red itself is harsh.

Can I just say how fantastic it is to have Kammy back on our screens. And the banter between him and Jeff Stelling is just superb. Jeff pulled Kammy's leg saying he'd missed a goal ... which I'm sure was a reference to the red card he missed some years ago.

if that was given against one of our players, i’d be apoplectic! what’s he supposed to do with his legs, just do the splits and hope each leg lands either side of the defender??
From the angle behind the ref it does look like Duran brings his right foot in towards the centre of Schaar's back. Can see why it was given on field, don't think there's enough for VAR to call it a clear error

Ref in the Forest vs Spurs game is a homer imo

Having said that Spurs are looking particularly clueless

My roomie, who last week decided to become a Palace fan to create some household antagonism, just sent me a text simply saying "I can't do this" (along with a photo of their game on TV). Not a great game I imagine.

Like others I’ve been wondering all season when Forest’s bad patch starts and I’m now tempted to say ‘never’. Like Fulham they’ve picked up a lot of players with Premier League experience and a point to prove and they now have a coach getting the best out of them. Increasingly looking like Spurs and United will stay mid table and Forest will get Europe.
