I was talking to some West Ham fans before the game , all very knowledgeable , go to most aways and had been to both the Goldstone and Withdean. Knew a lot about us. I said Bloom was key to what we have done there view it is Barber , might be Blooms money and yes he appointed Barber but he is clearly the brains.

So if its obvious to external fans why do some of our fans think 'Barber out' is a great song?

I think it’s more likely the case that they are a great team.

Bloom provides a lot of the vision and the all-important finance, whilst Barber is a great day-to-day operator, and the two married together works fantastically well.

Bloom won’t want to be elbows-deep in day-to-day operations, and Barber is able to work from the fantastic platform afforded by Bloom.

Does it matter? The bloke is paid over a million a year to run a football club. He should be thick skinned enough not to let it impact him.

Oh wait..

Did anyone think to tell Mrs Bloom?
