34 in a 30 zone, yes, absolutely. 44 in a 40 zone might be seen as a minor speeding offence in the eyes of those dishing out tickets, and it’s unlikely you’ll get a ticket, likewise 4mph over 50, 60 and 70.
Insisting in Standing in an aisle, after being expressly being told not to as it contravenes ground regulations, it’s an entirely different thing. If someone is being a dick and refusing to go to their seat, then tough shit, get banned, free up away tickets for other fans.

I … just like the vast majority of people… have no problem following the rules or laws or whatever. For some, they seem to think it’s a sign of weakness … AKA being a dick - and want to spend their lives constantly challenging the most simple rules that are usually there to try and keep people safe.

Agreed. I don’t understand why people just don’t stick to their allotted seats, but at Fulham the stewards just seemed to ignore that there was standing in the aisles.

Nor do I. As Pascal says above people just act as rebellious dick heads, thinking they are untouchable and invisible once they are more than a few miles from home. It’s these “fans” that are the reason for us receiving these emails and threats of punishment.
Maybe a designated standing area at away matches might help??

The problem is with this, is there is no doubt in my mind, that someone, will start complaining and that the best tickets go to the standing section. Then either buy a ticket there and complain, or kick up a fuss to PB. There is no club in the country that like to moan more than Brighton and Hove Albion. 90% of our away support stands at games anyway, maybe there should be a seat section.

There definitely needs to be a clear delineation between standing and seating away tickets, just like they’re always used to be. I feel sorry for some of our fans who clearly would prefer to sit, DO generally sit at home games but don’t fancy two hours of standing, maybe after a long drive up north etc.
Pretty certain the club wouldn't ban you for standing in the aisle, more likely that you refused to comply with a steward telling you to move. At Fulham, stewards did nothing. However, if they did identify people at the top of the aisle pushing people down then first offence or not, I'd ban them.
Unfortunately, since we have been playing in all seater stadia it has been the case that away fans stand. Personally I don't have a problem with it but understand there are some that do. Effectively, natural selection would suggest that those most likely to stand are less likely to buy the seats in the first few rows which opens the door for those that want to sit down to get them.
That might work, however I don’t think we are anything special about moaning. Football fans will always find something to complain about regardless of where we live or who we support.

No they wouldn’t, but the suggestion was, it would be better off finding other fans for away tickets and banning them for standing in aisles. Not sure I get that one, if you are physically pushing people down rows that’s a completely different situation to standing in the aisle.

There were quite a few spare seats in the back rows of block 118 so I don't understand why there was a need to stand in the aisles and let's not forget there is a lot of leg room so getting to seats AND indeed 3 people standing where 2 seats are wouldn't be that bad.

Sorry to have shocked you! Were there any BHA stewards at Fulham? I don’t recall seeing any - but there were quite a few at WestHam
