Don’t blame him and would be a huge loss. Criminally under-used so far this season. He was arguably our most effective player in the first three or four games when he was getting opportunities, and with Mitoma far from his best it was crying out for him on Saturday.

Absolute tosh and I'm surprised so many posters think we should get rid.
The idea of having a squad big enough to cover all bases is paramount to success.
Andringa was brilliant last season but with options comes waffle that the stand by players want out.
Andringa is a vital part of the squad as are the others on the fringes of the first team.
Mitoma played what 10 games or so last year because of injury, players get injured that's a fact, letting Andringa go would be mental.
The FA Cup is on the horizon I reckon we could field a decent team from the squad players .

Steele
Lamptey
Igor
Webster
Kadioglu
Gruda
O'Riley
Andringa
Disco
Moder
Ferguson

He obviously thinks he is better than what he is. Has been poor this season.
How is that obvious?
Maybe he wants a loan to become better and take a place in the team?

I know this was said tongue in cheek, but actually I agree 100% of this

we have become a fan base that is so entitled that we don’t appreciate young fantastic footballers at our club, Enciso, buonanotte, Adringa etc. but just want to send them out…some jokers on here are suggestion we sell them! FFS

happy f***ing Christmas

Possibly with Barco coming back he could be Mitoma's backup on the left, and then we're covered with Minteh, Rutter, Gruda and March on the right.

But there's no way all of Ferguson, Adingra and Enciso go on loan in January. Then there's the question of whether we will try to get some money for Moder or Lamptey before their contracts expire.

That's way too much squad movement for mid-season, even if we sign a couple of South American wonderkids as we always seem to in January.

Wouldn't be shocked... a smaller squad than now would be in the best interests of everyone I think.

I`d like to know if FH has tried SA in various positions and formations to see if he has alternatives during training or whether his mind is made up and that isn`t part of the process (not sarcasm) .

I have always liked the tactic of leaving a pacey small player up front on the halfway line when the opposition has a corner or set piece in case we can play a quick ball through , they have to leave at least one fast valuable asset back to cover that possibility- something Bowen did in both their previous two games before us , a player TL or SA size wont necessarily be missed in defence but in that position they would at the very least tie up one maybe two of their lads , probably not a tactic that fits the process (not sarcasm).

As for Solly we all love him but can he come back this time , and if so for how long ? . I still can`t believe he let Facu out on loan , and why make substitutions so late in the game , Minteh made a massive difference when he came on in the 68th minute , imagine if he had of come on at half time , so no real tactics bad choice of personnel and acts too late some process ! . ( of course sarcasm , how can you smile when you think about it , no wonder Simon wants out and doubt he`ll be the last .

Adingra and Enciso were both Roberto's babies. They have regressed since he left and held their hands

The feeling persists that we bought too many wingers and not enough defenders.

And if we do have too many wingers then Hurzeler needs to sell one or two. We still have Cozier-Duberry, Osman and Moran out on loan ready to return.

Yes, our managers do seem to favour that approach a lot. It avoids the inconvenience and distraction of having to play in the 4th, 5th. and maybe subsequent rounds.

Although it's great having a squad of real quality, this scenario is always going to happen, I guess. It must be difficult for some of the guys from last season (Enciso, Adingra, even Ferguson, to a point) to accept the role that they are playing. I guess some of it comes down to the change in manager, but also trying to introduce the new guys in.

A nice problem to have in terms of the quality available to choose from but, from a man-management point of view, a facking nightmare, I would imagine!
Indeed if you as the manager has the skills and gravitas to command the trust and respect which is where Welbeck, Dunk, Milner and Veltman come in.
