On the Border
There were a few chancers in the Lower Block 117 who were standing in the aisle during the game, whether they get a lengthy ban or not, probably depends on how the club view middle aged people in the aisle albeit on their own, and not blocking the whole of the aisle.

Good. Hope they had fun. Imagine getting a ban for standing in an isle hahaha pathetic.

"We will be increasing our own monitoring through extra liaison with other clubs and the vigilance of our own travelling stewards.
The club will not hesitate to impose sanctions on any supporter who misbehaves in future. Possible penalties include a significant loss of loyalty points or stadium bans"

From the bottom of my heart, f*** off. The club are actively sanitising our fanbase to make us more appealing to tourists. Been happening for years and the state of the Amex atmosphere reflects that. The one thing we have supporter wise is a respectable away following. They'll end up turning every away end into the one at Liverpool this season.
This.

Whatever, you can just ignore the fact that we're being spoken to like children and are going to be under even more surveillance from the club.

And also make fun of people who use the word 'ain't' (to be fair, this whole board seems to be obsessed with 'chavs', never ever hear that word anymore yet see it on here daily).

Standing in aisles, surging when your team scores happens in every away end across the country. 'Limbs' are celebrated online and is a big part of away fan culture.

Of course it's not nice to have beer spilt on you, but I've had drinks spilt on me at gigs, at pubs, at the cricket. It just happens at places where people drink a lot of alcohol. I don't think chucking a pint in the air is a particularly nice thing to do, but I also don't think it needs an email from the club, it's the sort of thing that should be self policed, or even just a word from a steward in the ground. I don't have kids, if I did I wouldn't take them to an away match until they were old enough to not be upset by these kinds of things.

Your arsey reply is obviously very funny to a certain type of poster on here, but I find the sanitisation of modern football insanely depressing and think it's a bigger issue.
Spot on!! This x 10000

Utter bollox. Been going to away games for 40 years, pretty much every away game in the Premier League and this 'limbs' and standing in the aisle to the extent it was at Fulham is only a recent phenomenon. It happened because the stewards at Fulham were utter crap. If you think it's great fun to push people down a load of steps, why not do us all a favour and throw yourself down some!!!

Heard the singing of 'f*** off Paul Barber, we'll do what we want' did make me laugh yesterday. Treat us like kids, and people will act like kids. We were lower tier and the atmosphere from our fans was awful. Home fans very quiet also, which didn't help.
Lower tier as well.
The atmosphere from both sets was awful……

Yes, a recent phenomenon. If the stewards at Fulham had asked people to keep the aisles clear I’m sure we’d have done that. We’re a reasonably compliant, friendly and sociable bunch

Were you the 'wiggy' they were taunting or are you naturally hirsute? ;)

That’s funny I hope he heard it. I said this really wasn’t the week for a lecture after being humiliated by Palace.

100% this and pint luzzing is basically the sheep in our fan base following social media trends.

I’ve watched far more important football matches than Brighton against Fulham or Leicester and never felt the urge to throw myself over other people

Noisy ? Atmosphere was the worst I’ve experienced this season I reckon (not helped as usual by the ground layout). Home and away fans all quiet.
