Absolutely terrible, horrific, tragic. Several pieces of footage are being widely circulated on social media, showing a car driving full speed through hundreds of pedestrians densely packed together in a narrow road, numbering in the hundreds and mostly young families. A suspect - and terroristic motive - is being widely shared on social media, but no official confirmation yet.

Absolutely tragic. I hope many can be saved. Barbaric.

I've been thinking about this for a couple of weeks, with all the anti vehicle barriers going up around the Christmas markets, wondering if there was some kind of intelligence that markets were going to be targeted. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Completely unsurprising. Christmas markets can no longer exist in Europe without massive security and occasional mass killings. It's unsustainable for us to keep living like this and pretending it's normal. Anyone saying otherwise and refusing to address the Elephant in the room is a a complete fool and it's time we treat them as such. We need firm, unified political action. f*** your thoughts and prayers.

Anyone saying what the real issues are gets called a bigot and is labeled as suffering from a some kind of phobia. And then people are shocked as the right takes advantage of the situation in the polls.

Rinse-repeat it's been that way for the last two decades.

Sixty eight people were hurt in the incident, which they are treating as an attack, and one person has been confirmed dead.

They get away with it because people like you have to make it about Left or Right , when it is about right and wrong - NOTHING ELSE , once that has been established we can defend against this happening again together , and leave the bitching and point grabbing for parliament .
