First half going by tv/radio it appeared the Albion support was loud. Second half subdued due to the tide of the game and home crowd.

What a load of presumption that is, I don’t feel the need to be lectured every week to be on my best behaviour. I behave 95% of the time, and I don’t need to be told like a child what to do. Try not to hurt others, but most people do not have bad intentions.

Exactly, the seats at most of these grounds are tiny, there’s no way you can fit everyone in a lot of the time, but if you don’t want to be a dick and stand on someone’s toes or stand in front of them, you naturally end up in the aisle. To suggest anyone who does that is on coke is a load of nonsense.
If only they were allowed to have their beer in containers with tops on, so much less beer would be chucked around.
Still, it is an unequivocal fact that all arbitrary rules have unexpected consequences, even ones that PB cooks up.

Football is religion to a huge percentage of the ‘lower’ classes - as was the case hundreds/thousands of years ago the ‘rulers’ desire to control what controls and influences these classes - it was no fluke that football was the first entertainment to be rushed back during COVID.
You find these coked up morons at any mass event, footie, racing, festivals, you name it. But if we’re concerned about the atmosphere and keeping football an escape from life then are they any worse than the 1901 guests who contribute zero to said atmosphere and just drive up prices?

Unfortunately that behaviour was witnessed by my wife at the Fulham game and she had to intervene to stop a group of lads abusing others.

That’s a shame, but to brand everyone who thinks this is all a bit patronising as that, is a load of shit really, its not just football it’s through all of society.
