As Brighton fans we’ve never experienced such highs as the QF. One of the clubs most embarrassing stats.

What pisses me off is Palace have gone full strength, they are taking it super seriously . Why couldn’t we have done the same against Liverpool? A cup win is the next step in our journey, we can’t afford to throw it away.
Because we haven't settled for mediocrity, so we sign talented players who need to get tough games. They don't really do that to any large extent so they have a better chance of being able to brag about a Cabbage Cup 8th place at end of the season.

If reaching the semi final of a cup is mediocrity I will take it every season. I would rather a cup final than another European run.

An Albion managers thing. Potter threw a LC tie against Villa, their manager played established ‘names’.

Well, we did in 1978. Although that depends on which train you took to the match.
Thought we’d never made it to the 6th round, or even 5th?
