First and foremost as others have said, Igor has to come back in for Dunk. Also, it’s no coincidence we’ve gone to pot defensively since Veltman got injured and we’ve missed the experience and leadership of Welbz - so we desperately need Joel and Welbz back. Since the Southampton game we’ve been shocking defensively and a lot of that is down to playing 2 full backs that can’t defend due to shocking positional sense which has left us horribly exposed. I think it’s high time Gruda got a start too, always liked what I’ve seen from him in his cameos and looks a far better player than both Minteh and Adingra.

Correct.

Stop this arrogant idea that we are good enough to take on comparable teams, playing 4 up front. It is f***ing stupid.
I think you’re bang on - defensively we’re fookin awful and need 3 in midfield to give us more protection.
Play O’Riley in front of Baleba and Ayari. If Ferdi and Veltman are fit I would love to see them come in as full backs because Pervis and Lamptey have left us horribly exposed at times because positionally they are not good defensively - decent going forward but can’t defend and regularly get caught out of position !

Apologies if it’s already been said but I think the most significant change we should make for Westham is for everyone on here to remove the Brighton players from their fantasy teams. From past experience it almost certainly triggers a fantastic performance

Post of the thread. I brought Welbeck in and he has been injured ever since. Pedro and Mitoma came in to my team and started playing rubbish. It's a curse.

I only have Pedro anyway. Should I bring in a few West Ham players instead?

I’ve just seen another thread on here that reminds us that we’ve yet to be awarded a penalty this season - so should we remove Pedro from our fantasy teams at this time? Aargh difficult decision

We have such quality up front that the forwards would play far better if they have more space to play instead of condensing it. No need for the kamikaze high line..

Picking 3 right wingers to start is also stupid.

The Arsenal corner tactic was hugely impressive.. and we've had a couple of weeks to do something similar.

Play 4 at the back.. if velt, hinsh, ferdi, milner are still out.. play Moder on the right.

Put Harry howell in the squad.. only 16.. he could do with the experience and deserves to get called up after his hatrick

I think we need a “back to basics” approach to stop the rot. Or is this idea, which has been the go to for teams that concede too many goals for decades, now passe?

Has Fab even got the ability to get the team to play this way? Gung Ho is currently not working.

In truth I have no idea, but that’s my input

This game we need to re-set.
Don't play such a high line from the get go. We need to play into it.
A point well made by a previous poster, is that teams are compact against us and hit on the counter. IMO we need to do this, we are at our best when passing and attacking when we have space. And move the ball with quicker decision making.
Clearly understand the system (Not process) and play it for 90mins.
We manage the game, not the game manage us, which has been evident of late.

Back to basics
Get into them, f*** em up as the advice used to be in the lower leagues

Igor in for dunk
Hopefully some experience in Welbeck and Veltman coming back in

Rest Rutter and Minteh start Enciso and Gruda

The tickets?

We are all Wolves supporters apparently.

Apologies if there are already half a dozen threads on this, but it has been a long day.
