[Drinking] Brewdog: hipsters”, “pretentious”, “wankers”, “********s” or simply "full of s**t"?

To be fair to Brewdog, Portman have hounded them since they started making ales.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised.

Cor this guy is a right prick isn't he
It's like the scene at the end of Animal Farm where the pigs invite the previously-despised humans round for dinner. The other animals, looking through the window, can't tell which is which. There's 'selling out', and then there's .... well, James Watt. And he went to Farage's 60th birthday apparently.

I think I'm disappointed more than anything. I always thought he was a bit of an arsehole, but I thought he was 'our' arsehole.

I couldn’t put this much better myself. I was a big supporter of Brewdog back in the day, l liked what they did, championed what they started and above all loved their beers. They have become huge, which I don’t have an issue with per se, I still like their beers, but success really didn’t have to be like this.

Well punk.
Whenever I see you post on these threads I can’t get that “I’m 34” line, from that spoof you posted, out of my head. :lolol:

Heard various rumours about the culture at the company including some fairly persistent ones about bullying that troubled me. I like IPA but Brewdog started to become a bit corporate so stopped buying it.

The sad thing is he’s the ‘founder’ but hasn’t been involved in the day to day of BrewDog for at least 6 months now. The new leadership must be fuming with the association still

Don't they still need to float the company at some point for the Private Equity wallahs (and the other Brewdog shareholders with less preferential shares) to be able to cash in?

Not necessarily, but needs an exit and valuation more than TSG is ‘owed’
