Huge risk IMHO. Saints decision making all over the place.
They could be in serious trouble next game.

Who are they playing?

Anyone with kids playing football in Brighton area will have heard of RMA football coaching (Russell Martin Academy). They run the Hove Park 3G and have taken over old Shoreham FC ground off Manor Hall Road in Fishersgate.

Is that the same Russell Martin that always scored against us for Derby?
No. I think he’s the guy who sang Livin La Vida Loca

Sacked this evening
As expected.

Tough for him and his successor to coach a Championship team in the Premier League but its easier and cheaper to appease the fans through sacking the manager than building a real Premier League squad.

At least he'll have his girlfriend Lucy Pinder to help soften the blow of being out of work.

Bottom two teams both looking for new managers, how many will turn them down to avoid relegation on their CV,

Both look like big and (nearly) impossible jobs to keep them up

Possibly…..but…..potentially could finish third from bottom and survive! (If Man City get their comeuppance with enough points deducted!)

His absolute refusal to adapt his tactics to the limitations of his squad to PL football was suicidal. When you get promoted you have to make yourself as hard to beat as possible and Saints are probably the worst team defensively since Derby County’s record holding team.
