Whilst a few stray balls from Van Hecke im relieved he made the game and continued through it was if he had to go off today I think the floodgates would have opened. Wont be surprised if Man C are lining him up with a record fee. He is a massive play. My MOM goes to Enciso not that he played much better than average but he tried he shot and if you dont buy a ticket you don't win the prize. When on he gave me hope. I doubt we will play that badly this season and we have to take things in perspective yeah we are heading mid table on form but it weren't that long ago we were heading outta league football. Plenty of teams in non-league football, big clubs that are struggling to make it back up. That doesn't mean I should put up with luke warm servings BUT I will not boo the team and I will not leave early and I will believe even when all hope appears lost. If I don't believe then how can i expect the players to believe?

Im surprised at comments of "gutless" i thought we had a real go especially early in both halves but the tactics were all wrong and player selection a mystery. CP are nothing special we made them almost look good. BUT they got around us put crosses in the box and our defenders made a hash of simple stuff. This tippy tappy pass it around the back looking for the perfect pass trying to go THROUGH opponents wasnt working and we needed plan b. Occasionally we got long goal kicks but did we win that, nah, needed Fergie or Welbeck on for headers and holding ball up. Thought Enciso and Pedro play too similar and we missed an out and out CF aka Danny Welbeck. With DW in the 6 yard or thereabouts we go around opponents more. We (and not alone in this) over complicate the build up play and really did not test their GK anywhere near enough first 45 mins.

Has anyone already posted about how much of a prat Guehi was today. Twice he kicked a ball into the away fans to piss about with. Really strange behaviour, never seen that before.
Kicking a match ball into the crowd must be an offence ? he did it at least twice. . . .

Well it would be if you had an official adhering to rules of fair play.

Trying to get DW on might have been an issue

Plan B suggests we were playing Plan A, but looked like we were playing Plan C rev 2.1.

Fullbacks incredibly high and wide first half, the wingers even higher , a 4-2-4 at times, the spaces in behind us great swathes of beautiful Amex turf. Hard to believe that couldn’t be corrected mid half, the second seemed inevitable, Estupinan hasn’t even made it into our box as the cross comes in he’s so far upfield.

I’m still scratching my head how open we decided to play a huge rival game.

Oooofff, that/this hurts. I was upbeat, hopeful, expectant . . . Until about 14:15

Although it's always unpleasant, I can accept losing to a better team on the day (and we did)

After a cooling off period . . . .I'm still pissed off.

We're emotionally attached 'customers' . . . . We can't help it

players are mercenary sportsmen and are not invested emotionally like we are. *

*We do have a few but they're broken/antique/prototype.

Today, of all days, they were all on different wavelengths. A few individual shows . . . But .no great desire or unity. . . . just an embarrassment all round. FH is on a steep learning curve.

I sincerely hope TB dropped by the dressing room and shared the displeasure. . . . . Whilst hoovering up a few mil at the bookies as he saw it coming!

Pile of crap and I imagine TB is also struggling to see what the plan is.
I wont be staying up for any more games this season, though I also left after the 3rd goal, I went to bed.
Not a good advert for us at all.

Has to be a bookable offence shirley. It's not strange behaviour, just very very cynical. At least the Palace fans were too thick to do the obvious ie. wait until we mount a dangerous attack then lob a second ball on to the pitch so the game has to be stopped
