Whilst he had his mojo, once he didn’t we were SHITE, but we always looked shite in defence under him
Potter started off badly, COVID saved him arguably, given his dreadful home record, but this is about Fab, and it’s very early days to call him out

Edit - Potter did finish strongly and without his work RdZ would not have been able to take it further

He has the best squad we have ever had and is coming across recently as clueless…imo

Arguably stronger CB pairing, thanks to CH coaching, we just play a different way now
Got shot of Duffy and brought in Webster so not really true. The way we play now is way worse than CH and GP in defence AND we have a much better keeper.

Don't we have to pay Chelsea a fee ?
I think that clause expired in October. His settlement from Chelsea was that he got paid up 2 years worth of wages from his original contract.

He was a great manager and our patience with him paid off with him leaving such a great team for RDZ to inherit. We should therefore give Hurzeler time as well and accept the transitional phase.

I have my tin hat at the ready…but he is a much better manager than FH is at the moment imo

Available too
I don’t know if you made this public or I can just see votes with my mod user privileges, but either way there are at least four people who’ve voted the way I did who I didn’t think I’d ever agree with on anything. So there’s that. It’s the option that’s winning by a mile. Well done for uniting NSC at this difficult time.

Does he?
Based on what I’ve seen and still early days so not a final opinion, I think some of the signings are not that great.

Beat squad for me remains Potter/RdZ season
Fair enough, opinions, but a decent manager would be getting much more out of these players imo

Not today we didn’t Bart was dreadful, but yes normally.
Needed Duffy today, neither player had the stomach for it

I fully expected “f*** off” to be the winner, after all we were shat on by Potter but I just see him as years ahead of the manager at this level than the one we have now

100%. A fit March, Caicedo and Mac in midfield, options in attack and defence. Now we have a lot of expensive potential.

You really blaming Bart for any of the goals? 😲
First, he has to attack, bounced in his 6 yard box, nowhere near strong enough.

Second, good cross but his positioning for a floated cross was not great.

Think Steele would have got hammered today, apparently this was also picked up on TV I’ve been told.

Obviously the wet dream for Tony Bloom & co.

You give young talented players to Potter and the majority end up being sold for big money a year or two later. Was the case in Östersund, Swansea and Brighton. Also not much internal conflict or media buzz, just safe and steady improvement day by day.

The club would absolutely want to have Potter, his stability, reliability and willingness to work under a model like ours.

But I don't think it will happen. They don't want to pick someone who would make the fans upset. Its better to go with the second best option.

Best first XI was 2022/23 by a country mile.

Pretty sure some people here a few weeks ago claimed this season’s team is superior.

Gross, Mac, Caicedo and Colwill walk into this team and possibly most anywhere. Veltman and Dunk two years younger, Estupinan as good a LB as any in the PL then.
