Now Albion leading 3-1at half time. I am chuckling at the subtitles generated as we have had some 'gold' kicks and a player called 'bugs run' to name just 2 mistakes

A convincing win to top the group and make the QFs.

Possible opponents: Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Durham, West Ham, Tottenham.

Of those, 9th in the Championship Durham would clearly be the best outcome, especially as they've been paired up in FA Cup R4.

West Ham and Spurs are currently below Albion Women in the WSL, so a home draw against either of those 2 wouldn't be an issue.

Have been watched the Albion in the WSL for a few years, it's sad to see gamesmanship, particularly faking injury from defence during threatening attacks. We are a good honest side, but it's real shame to see it creeping in at other clubs. Spurs played the ref who fell for it every time. One of things I'd enjoyed not seeing.

They were dreadful last night, straight out of the Sean Dyche book of cheating, ref was predictably gullible. Good point in the end though.

With the exception of Chelsea, it couldn't really have been a tougher League Cup draw for Albion Women with Arsenal (3rd), then either City or United.

Let's hope the home advantage in the QF and possible SF (no neutral ground) makes that little bit of difference in the road to Wemb...sorry, Derby.

Quarter-Finals

Chelsea v Durham
Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United
Manchester United v Manchester City
Brighton & Hove Albion v Arsenal

Semi-Finals

Brighton or Arsenal v Manchester United or Manchester City
Chelsea or Durham v Tottenham or West Ham
