I saw a list of 10 players a while ago that “everybody loves irrespective of their team loyalty”. Jamie Vardy was one of them. Everybody I have ever talked to about him detests him because he’s a ferret faced whining little cheat and thug. That’s what the OP is talking about!
Quite. Exactly.

I like him. Good hard working pro, lightning pace, which incredibly he still seems to have at 38 to some degree. What Michael Owen would have given for his legs!

Stuck with Leicester when he could have gone for big money elsewhere. Credit to him.

Just think it's fashionable to have a pop at these English players. Don't really see what is wrong with him.

Newmarket.
I think he'd have had far more game time and certainly more impact than Ferguson this season as he's a hard grafter and still knows where the goal is.
No strolling around getting knocked off the ball without him giving you some back.
Some players are all elbows and love the contact. He's one.

Great player. Wouldn't want him now as he doesn't bring enough for us to bin a few super talents, but a few years ago, or if we had no Welbeck, I would have loved to see it.
Great player. Yes he looks like a ferret on drugs but that only adds to the spice.

But is he a dickhead? What has he done that counts as being a dickhead?

I know you’ve put a wink but plenty of people seem to believe he’s a dickhead without a wink.
Yes, the wink is key to interpreting this post! I get the impression that a large proportion of fans consider Vardy to be a dickhead. I don't really take a view, but then I don't read tabloids or other gossip.

Anything the Rooneys can do, the Vardys can do better. At least, that’s the hope at Netflix.

After Coleen Rooney was given her own documentary series on Disney+, and Wayne Rooney was profiled by Prime Video, Jamie Vardy is to get the Netflix treatment.

And while the Vardy show will concentrate on his journey from non-League Fleetwood Town player to Leicester City striker and England player, it will also offer glimpses of his home life, including scenes with his wife, Rebekah.

If it proves popular, the documentary could open the door to a fly-on-the-wall series in which Rebekah Vardy plays the starring role
