Brilliant work in finally getting Germany to tighten their laws on people smugglers. Something the Tories could never do after demonising the EU in order to gaslight voters.
We're Smashing the Gangs. No need for 3 word catchphrases here.

No, no - you misunderstand. The Tories would have had a far stronger agreement.

....if they had tried to get one that is. Really is a bit rich of them to criticise a deal they couldn't / wouldn't achieve themselves.

I suspect that populist 3 word catchphrases aren’t Sir Keir’s thing. Especially as the three famous Tory ones ‘get Brexit done’, ‘oven baked deal’ and ‘stop the boats’ were either lies or never actioned.

International cooperation is the only realistic game in town, wedge politics achieves nothing

He actually only said about 4/5 times in those clips and then they repeated the same clips mashed together really quickly to make it look like he's said it loads. It also very clearly a partial answer to questions about illegal migrants and a valid point in tackling the issue.

I don't think you can quite classify it in the same categories as the likes of "Get Brexit Done" which was repeated every time Boris opened his mouth and across billboards and posters

Fair point, I had to turn off the "debate" about 30 seconds in when they were criticising a three word slogan with one word counter argument "deportation". Morons

That's quite handy. This morning on 5Live there was a discussion of Reeves' upcoming spending review where she was saying that "we will inspect every pound of government spend".

Nice, easy tap-in there to get things underway.

This seems to be the civil servants and the department rather than the actual politicians - and seems to have been going on for some time. For instance, this was in February this year - before this Government came to power

So, hopefully, now it's been highlighted, it will cease.
