Highlight of last season this one, epic De Zerbi ball before the injuries did for us

Mrs D has had a voucher for a while to book a tour of the Coronation Street set. I've kindly offered to drive her up there AND treat her to a night in a hotel, returning Sunday evening
Manchester's a fab place for a weekend. Great pubs and restaurants. The Corrie tour is well worth a visit. As, usually, is Old Trafford. Seen us win both recent visits plus (big plus) was also able to book a seat in the sitting-only section. An absolute godsend.

Been to Manchester dozens of times, but I don’t watch Corrie. OT is a cramped, crumbling dump of a place imo

I still like OT. It feels like one of those big 'special' venues despite its slightly dilapidated state. Mind you, our run of good performances there can’t last. We’re due for a beating so am weighing up this one. I was at university in Manchester and have a strong affection for the city.

Decision time, I’m tired of them trains from the North West, and as it’ll probably end up having a couple of weeks off the sauce, I’ll probably drive to Norwich. I’ll be holding out for Thursday as them low low prices mean an ideal Xmas present for my brother in law and his daughter (heart of gold, me 🤣)
