Other than the Wieffer booking when he won the ball, the decision that got me was when Pedro appeared to have broken free, and the Leicester player hauled him down.

Attwell of course penalised Pedro…..

But that was a clear goalscoring opportunity, perhaps Attwell could not see the incident from behind play, but WTF is the point of VAR then, clear and obvious error…

.... It seemed that Dunky also got booked just for questioning the ref as captain?

Dunk got booked for questioning a decison, ....

Dunk wasn't booked, was he? I was watching on TV and didn't see that - it isn't reported in the Argus live blog and it isn't showing on either the PL website or the BBC. When do you think it happened?

If he was, it would be his 4th of the campaign meaning he'd be walking a bit of a tightrope for the next four matches (van Hecke also has 4).

Him & his mate Taylor don’t know what a tackle is, Rice cleanly won the ball last week and the fool gives a free kick.
Proper pair of ****s those two.

Got mentioned on TV coverage here, but I agree that I cannot see it in the stats.

I thought it was a foul but it's somewhat of a stretch to call that a clear goalscoring opportunity, at least from my view in the stadium (and we were pretty close to it).

I'd also add that JPvH's foul in the last minute was very soft watching it back this morning - certainly in comparison with the fouls on Pedro. Almost as though Attwell was pretty desperate for us to lose. Note also he allowed Leicester to play until over 47 mins during their attack in the first half when there was just one minute put up and no time lost during that minute. Hmm.
(I know I'm sounding like an obsessive conspiracy theorist and I don't care!)

Were you on the Leicester side then as it was opposite to our fans, and he was clean through.
Nope. That just goes to prove that we're talking about different incidents. The one I was referring to was the one committed by that enormous useless lump Vestergaard which was near the half-way line and the touchline. The one I think you are referring to is the Ndidi one (that led to him being taken off) which was also on the touchline but midway in their half. Might be wrong, but the fact that that one was on the touchline means it was more likely for a covering defender to get back and across.

I didn’t think the ref was that bad. There were a few times when Pedro overdid the theatrics and the crowd around me were screaming blue murder when we didn’t get the decision. We had a few go our way too.

"C*** with a whistle" seemed to be an unreasonably coarse assessment.

Given you were likely there, I take it you also recognise that there is context to such coarseness.

Yes it was the Ndidi one, I don’t recall the other.
Just saw Ndidi’s hands around Pedro’s shoulder’s then they both went down, there was no cover and he was the last man

Personally, I prefer “you don’t know what you’re doing” which is far more accurate

Yes, I referred to it ie I didn’t think there ref's performance was any worse than normal. Some decisions go for us, some against, never helped by the amount of play-acting going on from both sides. I’ve seen much worse than this, and I don’t subscribe to conspiracy theories — "they’re all out to get Albion" sort of stuff.

Of course they aren’t, but some are ridiculously incompetent and clearly refereeing at a level above their actual ability, which IMO is where Attwell is.

They're not all out to get us but that utter prick Attwell is and has been for a long time.

I genuinely think he knows exactly what he is doing , he was at the heart of the Spurs debacle where he turned down 2 stonewall penalties and disallowed 2 perfectly good goals , and more recently the ridiculous 2nd yellow and following red for Carlos at Bournemouth . He has also gone against us on var virtually every time , i believe it is personal with him against us - heaven only knows why .
