Yet again the Chiefs scrape another win - this time with a field goal as time expires which goes in off the upright.

So many games this season they have won by a narrow margin - some could say lucky but maybe the Albion could learn a thing or two about game management from Andy Reid!
It really is quite something isn't it – virtually all their wins have come by just a couple of points, in single-score "could have pretty much gone either way" endings.

Either incredibly lucky, or incredibly good at always just getting it done.

Very happy with Seattle this morning, another impressive win for a team that's put a mid-season wobble behind them and is now playing at a level none of us really expected for Macdonald's first season in charge. NFC West is incredibly tight, but we're more than in with a shout of making the playoffs.

As a Lions fan who went through 0-16...we deserve this.
You do. As a Cleveland fan of over forty years standing I always thought I'd be jealous of the Lions if they won the Superbowl (or even just reached it). I think us and the Lions are the only two pre-merger, pre Superbowl era teams who haven't won it. (The other non-winners are expansion franchises). You are (were) our partners in shame, and no matter how bad we were there was always the thought that we weren't unique, the Lions were equally poor. I always thought how awful it would be if you won it, then we'd alone would be the holders of 'Most Crap Franchise of the Superbowl Era' trophy.

And yet I find myself rooting for you every week. I really want to see the Lions at least reach the Superbowl. We deserve to be 'worst'.

You very nearly became the Baltimore Brown's! Owners wanted to move you out of Cleveland.

Another team who have never won it, albeit joining NFL from AFL a long time after Brown's is the Bill's.

And there's a team that also probably deserves it too in recent times, after missing out on fine margins.

Yes, 'The Betrayal'. Uniquely when the original Browns were mooted to move to Baltimore the NFL said the Ravens would be a new franchise, it wouldn't be the same as when the Colts moved to Indianapolis for example. The new franchise wouldn't inherit the record or the history of the Browns, so the Browns never moved, they just stopped playing for a few years.

You can win luckily once or twice, when you do that consistently is more than pure luck imo. But ofc they're playing with fire and could burn when it will really matter in the playoffs.

Another big win, liked our running game though we still struggle in short yardage situations. The return of Abe Lucas and rookie Laumea stepping into the lineup have really stabilized right side of the OL. Career day for Zach Charbonnet, hope he'll get more playing time. I like Walker but maybe he's part of the problem why our run game has struggled so far.

Only bad thing is that the Rams beat the Bills despite a heroic effort from Josh Alien (no typo, that's how McVay called him). Would be great if we could be two games clear at the top of NFCW especially with a tough upcoming schedule. We play next three against the NFC North opponents, Green Bay and Minnesota at home and then Chicago away before ending the season in what could be a division deciding game in LA against the Rams. But hopefully we'll win next three and Rams will slip, they play TNF in San Fran this week so Niners win would probably be the best for us.

Pain in the arse, was playing against him in fantasy! 😂

Great player

Me too. Thankfully I was already eliminated from playoffs contention in my Dinasty league last week.

Tbf I've started 1-7 and then won four consecutive weeks and got my hopes up to maybe sneak into the playoffs but none of my players really showed up last week. Probably better because couldn't do anything against my opponent yesterday who had Allen and Nacua combined for almost 90 points, lol. But at least I've had Darnold and Charbonnet on the bench both with 35 points.

Also, Allen is the first player in history with three passing TDs and three rushing TDs in a single game.

A few weeks ago I was there being all smug about the falcons and then they've gone and falconsed it like the falcony falcing falcons they falcing are.
Having lived in the Atlanta area for a while, it was to be expected the Falcons would be the Falcons and be a bit Spursy.

Yup, NFC West is tighter than an Albion fan’s sphincter in the 86th minute of a match we’re 2-0 up in.

Tough one for my Bills. The Rams played a perfect game against us, nothing to do but tip the hat and say good game. The #1 seed seems out of reach now, hopefully the Bills can secure the 2 seed, but the Steelers don't seem to be going away so even that isn't assured.

Yeah ..... sorry about that :( I did think two wins against them was going to be stretching it. And we've got a new weak link - special teams. Hopkins has gone from being a prospective Pro Bowl kicker to someone who would struggle to hold down a place in a high school team.

Would be quite happy to get behind the Lions for the playoffs - though i do like the Bills as well. Basically anyone who hasnt had a superbowl win in fairly recent memory (which is since the turn of the century, as far as i'm concerned) will receive my support.

One suspects that it'll be the Chiefs absolutely robbing someone in the last forty seconds or so though :p

We've got them next week - I'll be amazed if it's a single-score game! :lolol:

Six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach Bill Belichick is finalizing a deal to become the new head coach at North Carolina, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.

Lot of rumours about this over last week, looks like it's finally happening. Don't know how he'll work with college kids but with NIL, transfer portal and other stuff NCAA is as close to NFL as it gets these days business wise. No doubt there are a lot of kids who will want to play for him.

Talking about college footbal here is the playoff bracket. Is anyone here following CFB?

Not that I particularly wanted him back, but I did wonder if he’d return to the Giants…
